Crochet Scarf for Beginners (Take 13) | Easy Pattern to Crochet Scarf Using ONE Stitch!

Even though the Atreyu Crochet channel is for beginners, I think it's necessary to build upon the basics. The great thing about crocheting is that even the most complicated of patterns can still be broken down to the very basics of crocheting.
Don't ever approach a crochet pattern with doubt. Simply break down the pattern and approach it one stitch at a time. If a stitch is foreign to you, then find a UA-cam tutorial on it, learn the stitch, and resume with the pattern. Although our starting point is that of a beginner, it is also true that that is not our destination.
Happy Crocheting! :)
FYI, this yarn is Super Bulky (6).
Easy to follow
Thx
Why is he the only one that I actually truly understand
:)

My favorite color! That’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing💙✨🧶
You’re welcome. It’s a beautiful color indeed.
This is by far the BEST tutorial I have seen for beginners, thank you for visually showing the orientation, it is immensely helpful!
You’re very welcome. I’m so glad to hear that. Thanks for letting me know 🙂🙏🏾
That is a beautiful scarf!!! You’re right about the solid color, it really shows off that stitch. Another great tutorial!!!! Thank you!!!! Your tutorials are so easy to follow!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! There’s definitely a need for solid colors too. And yes, I am in love with that blue 😂 🙏🏾
This is a gorgeous scarf and a pattern that I as an absolute beginner can follow. I am going to make this scarf this week. Thank you for your always helpful videos!

You’re welcome 🙏🏾🙂
I am following you for 2 years. Looking at your hat or scarf design, I made this too. I'm learning great crochet patterns from you, it's so easy, I love it. Thank you there should be happiness in your life too.. you. Have a beautiful pattern.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words and continued support 🙂🙏🏾
My pleasure keep it up.
I’ll certainly try 😉🙏🏾
Thank you for actually doing a beginner thing for beginners. I have crocheted for years but was trying to find something for a friend who is wanting to learn and all the beginner patterns that pop up first are WAY too complex to start with imo. Nailing the basics is important.
You're welcome! I'm happy the tutorial was what you were looking for :)
Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with all of us wannabes! I think I can keep my edges straight on this one since you showed us how! Glad you are feeling better than in the last tutorial I watched!
You’re so not a wannabe, but definitely the real thing 🙂 We all start out as beginners😉 And yes, I’m feeling better now. Thanks so much for the well wishes 🙏🏾
I’m so glad that I found your tutorials. You make it so easy for me, and your work is so beautiful and your voice is so soothing. Thanks
Thank you so much, Sara! I really appreciate your kind words 🙂🙏🏾
Beautiful scarf! Love the subtle ridge created by using the FLO sc. The solid blue yarn is perfect to show it off. Thank you.
Thank you very much! Yes, I love that blue as you could probably tell from the video lol.
My favorite color! Your channel is the easiest to follow with clear instructions. Best wishes!
Thank you. Yes, it’s a beautiful color!🙂🙏🏾
You are totally on point about the beauty of a solid yarn highlighting the stitch. Thanks for yarn nerding out with us. And happy holidays 😊

Great explanation of how to single crochet. I now understand so much more about identifying stitches. Thanks
You're very welcome! I'm happy it helped :)
Thank you. I agree, a solid color would show off the stitch better. The blue is really pretty. Viewed March 2024

Would you by chance have a video for mittens ?
Thank you so much! I will have to add mittens to my crochet list. Be sure to check out my playlists. I know I have made some fingerless gloves though :)
Thank you
You are very welcome 🙂
Thanks brother anything else you make.
There's a whole channel here.
I just finished this beautiful scarf and the matching hat and even though your patterns or for beginners the finished product makes you feel like you are not a beginner, but a skilled professional, and what I like about you is that you know how to make everything so easy to follow. I just have one request can you make more hats to match some of your other scarves.
That's wonderful! I'm happy that you completed the set. Thanks for the kind words. I can't make any promises regarding more hats. I crochet items when time permits. I do, however, have several hat tutorials so maybe you can make some of those. Thanks for writing!
John Boy gave you a shout out and said we should check you out. Thanks too John Boy I have subscribed to you. 😊❤ Great tutorial.Thank you
Thank you so much for telling me and for checking out the channel. I hope you continue to enjoy the tutorials. WELCOME! :)
i am a beginner about 2 yrs now. You are awesome i can follow you perfectly. Sometimes i can fast forward your videos because i catch on to the repeats. Can you do a video of crocheting initials into the scarfs? please
Yes, watch Saturday’s video!🙂
Best pattern and I mixed it up with different stitches! One suggestion: use stitch markers at the end of each row so you know where the first stitch is when you turn your work!
Nice! :)
Beautiful job ❤i just subscribed to your channel
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it :)
@@AtreyuCrochet you're welcome 🥰
Yes❤❤
Thanks!
Thank you for your beginner's scarf. Can you show how to make this same scarf stripped? Please?
All you need to do is change colors every other row. I have videos showing how to change colors. I hope that helps!
@AtreyuCrochet I am sharing with my niece. She is learning, and your instructions are simple for her to follow. I showed her to change at the end of rows or on the last stitch of color.
Thank you for this great tutorial. Love the blue! Instead of switching, wondering if it's possible to crochet two different colours, but use as a single strand? Probably go up a hook size as well?
You're most welcome! And yes, your idea of 2 colors, 1 strand is definitely a viable option. As such, I would probably increase the hook size by a little to accommodate the extra girth. If you go that route, let me know how it turns out!
Turned out great! Used medium worsted weight yarn which I love working with..... Thank you so much for your insight and videos ❤
@kimmalwah5404 That’s great! Thanks for letting me know. You’re very welcome 🙂🙏🏾
Very beautiful
Thank you!🙏🏾🙂
I love your color. Wish I could have yarn brand name and color
Thanks so much!🙂🙏🏾
I love your green hook. Where did you get it?
I bought it in a pack of 10 by a brand called Yarnology. I got it years ago from Hobby Lobby I think. I don’t see it online anywhere so you might want to check the store. I hope that helps!
@@AtreyuCrochet Thanks 😊 I am new to your channel and am loving your tutorials.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I’m happy to hear that you’re enjoying the videos 🙂🙏🏾
Just curious. how many rows did you have by the end of the scarf?
I don’t remember.
near the beginning of the scarf (second row) i started sewing into the chain 1 stitch (after the chain 1 + turn) and kept doing it. should i just continue with this is the scarf ruined? 😖
I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. Sewing?
@@AtreyuCrochet sorry! i meant stitching/crocheting (i’m unsure of the correct word)
@sammythescrub5258 I’m not exactly sure what you’re doing but the best way to know is to continue and see how it’s turning out.
@@AtreyuCrochet okay thank you! 🙏🏽
🙏💕💯💕👍💕🥰👏❤️
🙏🏾🙂🙏🏾
The weight of this yarn please
Super Bulky (6)
Why is every time I make this it turns round instead of like a square
That I can't answer, sorry :)
I am struggling still
That doesn’t help me help you.
