    My intentions aren’t to critic your work but rather express my point of view from a beginners perspective maybe using screen cast shortcuts capture and slowing down a bit can be very helpful. It is really difficult to follow with how fast you move.
    I forgot too mention how about an eyebrow generator? That be pretty cool too.

    Това което сте направили е невероятно! Въпреки че е малко сложно да се проследят стъпките в създаването на geometry nodes , толкова много време спестява и както казахте това е универсален метод за изграждане на миглите и за следващи проекти! Благодаря за това което показвате и отново браво! 🙏🤪💯

    Hi Dean I cannot have a mesh line for growth the eyelashes on it.
    Ho I create a mesh line?
    I need to select the vertex and extrude it?

    • @denoa3D
      @denoa3D  Місяць тому

      Yes, simply add a new mesh object, merge all its vertices with M, so that you have a single vertex, then extrude and snap it to your character.

    around 7:56 I cant seem to get my lashes to have a curve in them like that. and idea what I might have done wrong? I cant find anything differing from your set up
    ....also cant rotate them on the Y on both sides just all at once... what the heck is wrong in mine

    • @denoa3D
      @denoa3D  Рік тому +7

      You probaby don't have any resolution on the eyelash curve. I forgot to mention that in the video, but use a Resample Curve on the eyelash curve and give it some resolution, around 10-20 points.

      OOOOOO! that would make sense! thanks I've been trying to figure it out I finally just broke down and grabbed it from your gumroad and adapted that one. Thank you for putting that up there on gumroad as well btw!

    • @denoa3D
      @denoa3D  Рік тому +3

      @@외계인전문직 You can use a "Resample Curve" right after the "Curve Line" node - the one that is the eyelash curve. It will divide the curve into more points, you can set it to 10-12.

    thanka lot ,it's really helpful,but i have a question,can i bind it to my armature to make it move along my character?or other ways?

    • @denoa3D
      @denoa3D  Рік тому +1

      Sure. For simpler rigs you can parent the eyelash object straight to the head bone (in Pose mode), so it moves with the head, and the deformation will come from the Surface Deform modifier. For something more complex, you may want to convert to mesh and do the binding as normal.

    Good day! Your guide is very strong!! I applaud you. I wanted to ask you, is it possible to make eyelashes with fewer polygons?

    • @denoa3D
      @denoa3D  9 місяців тому

      Yes! You can use a 'Resample Curve' node anywhere in the node tree where you have a curve, and it will change the resolution of that curve. For example, if you use it on the circle, which we used for the eyelashes profile, and set to 3, the eyelashes will have a triangular profile with 3 sides (4 - square and so on). If you use it on the eyelashes curves, it will change the resolution along the curve. That way you can control the poly count of the final geometry.

      I have published the new update. In the new version these issue should be fixed. Make sure to delete any older setup you have on your existing file by deleting any EyelashGen or EyebrowGen modifiers, then go to File > Clean Up > Recursive Unused Data-Blocks to remove any node groups from the old version.
      Then you can safely install and use the new version.

      @@denoa3D Hii, thank you so much for taking the time to make the update! The issue was resolved, although I have different one now 😞
      The hairs aren't separating from the mesh, they are appearing but no matter what I tweak the hairs stick flat to the mesh, am I doing something wrong?
      I make the line using vertices in edit mode like in the video, go to object mode, select the vertices line I made, and then in the addon UI click "Make Eyelashes" and select the face in the UI, and then they appear, but they arent standing and going outwards from the mesh, as eyelashes do. The same happens with the eyebrows, the exact same issue.

      I'm sorry to bring another you another issue, I really love the addon, I used the free eyelash generator in the past, but it started doing the same thing, so I thought I was doing something wrong and bought the addon so it would make it automatically, but I ended up finding the same problem 🥲
