- Jejudo (also known as Jeju Island) is the largest island off the coast of the Korean Peninsula, and the main island of Jeju Province.
The island lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of South Jeolla Province. The island contains the natural World Heritage Site Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes.
Jejudo has a temperate climate; even in winter, the temperature rarely falls below 0 °C

I've been to South Korea just last month and was able to visit this majestic island of Jejudo. Mt. Halla is so breath taking, wishing to comeback in winter time. Koreans in Jeju are very good and helpful people. This video made me reminisce the good times. There are lots of places to visit. :)
Several decades ago, a famous Japanese writer visited and traveled through Jeju Island. Upon returning home to Japan, he remarked,
"It's as if I went to the place where I used to live my 'previous life (前生)' before I was born, and now I have returned to my present life."

when i was stationed in South Korea i won cook of the quarter and my prize was a trip to Jejudo. was life changing seeing the beauty of that place. many koreans never get to go there, they should make a effort to get there, its amazing when you walk up to the top!
Wow this is so beautiful, i thought Canada & Thailand were super special and amazing places, but now i want to visit South Korea, looks amazing scenery and culture. I just love Asia its cultures, people and scenery.

Beautiful big island of South Korea, i understood Women was worker as a sea water deep divers and earns money to living. Mans are taking care of babies without working before when I was in the Korea. Since than Many Resort Areas were developed by man's worker. Busy Resort area is located in southern tip with warm climate. Busy visitors from China and Japan. Small air port is in this island.
