- Busan formerly spelled Pusan (Korean pronunciation: [pusan]) is South Korea's second largest metropolis after Seoul, with a population of around 3.6 million.
It is the largest port city in South Korea and the world's fifth busiest seaports by cargo tonnage.
The city is located on the southeastern-most tip of the Korean peninsula. The most densely built up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong River and Suyeong River, with mountains separating some of the districts. Administratively, it is designated as a Metropolitan City. The Busan metropolitan area is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county.
Busan was the host city of the 2002 Asian Games and APEC 2005 Korea. It was also one of the host cities for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and is a center for international conventions in Korea. On November 14, 2005, the city officially announced its bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympics Games

해운대는 탈 한국이던데. 갔다가 홍콩 어딘가에 와있는가 착각 들 정도. 중국이나 일본 등 외자도 꽤많이 유입된것 같고..
Even here I couldn't understand korean language by trying to acknowledge what's it like in busan city but surely the infrastructure were well build up and the skyscraper looks tremendously awesome. Housing looks like in Hong Kong but skyscraper looks like in singapore. I might visit there if my episode 11 is going to begin.

wow this is a beautiful video / documentary on the city of Busan in Korea. I have not been to Korea but some day it would be nice, especially Jeju island and some of the beautiful mountain hiking and climbing areas. of all the Korean people I have meet I do like and respect them very much.
Sometimes it s very hard to use words to express my feelings...
Busan possesses a magnetism unlike that of any other city I have known...

As I posted elsewhere on this, My wife and I have lived in cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, and Shanghai, but my favorite of the cities we've lived in is my adopted hometown of Busan. It's actually where my wife grew up, and where she has wanted us to get back to in the 30 years we've been married. In recent years, that became possible. It's very different from when my wife grew up, but it's such an easy city to love ... and I do love it in Busan.

부산 도시미관을 보면 난잡하고 지저분하다고 느낄수도 있는데 그건 어쩔수 없어요
6.25때 피난민들이 와서 산언저리까지 집짓고 살았고 도로도 당시의 도로들을 조금씩 넓히고 확장해서 만든게 저정도죠
전쟁으로 인해 다 부숴진 상태로 새로 재개발된 도시들과 1:1 비교하긴 힘듭니다
그것 말고 해운대 초고층 건물들
그래도 요즘 가보면 혁신도시 많이 짓던데
그래서 좋은 부산....

Wow! Since I've gotten interested in Korea because of the K-dramas and I've seen there some places that are supposed to be in Busan, I thought it was a very small city, without those big buildings and things like that. I didn't think at all that Busan was like that!

Visited Busan July 2019 and really loved it ! Such a beautiful country !! I highly recommend this travel destination. Weng & I went to most of the places in this video, especially the Busan Tower. Weng & I also have a Love Lock on one of the Love Lock Trees outside the tower. We plan to return someday to see our lock.

1 of my favorite places in the world. I lived (was stationed) in Pusan SK in 89-90. Alot has changed since but I long to visit 1 day with my family.

I like Busan (Some spelled it this way...Pusan) very much. I was there late November of 2006. People more hospitable and friendly there.

it does not remotely resemble the Pusan of 1950 during the Pusan Perimeter when the North Koreans had invaded the South. I cannot orient what I am seeing to find a point of reference that looked familiar. Too bad. Korean war veteran

With a good ear, it is a definite P sound. It is P sound because it is between a vowel and a consonant. No letter on either side indicates a consonant placeholder ie. Pusan has a consonant on the left of the P because their is no word before it.
