I understand this product has a PH12 level and I've heard and seen other detailers say it shouldn't be used even for a once a week pre-wash due to it's strong properties. I plan to use this once a week as a pre-wash, then a neutral foam for my contact wash. what are your thoughts? I heard you say you used a 1:3 dilution. This is probably why the foam is so thick because I know this product at a suggested 50ml:1L dilution is a lot more runny. Is 1:3 dilution a bit too strong?
Those other detailers don't understand PH. It's not the PH it's the materials used. Neat IPA is ph 7. Don't listen to forums or stuff like that. But is pure surfactant only. Use it when u need to use it.
Are you happy with the small GO AVA pressure washer? I will be using it for the car at the weekend and that’s all. Would I get good results if I bought a good foam cannon?
How often is it safe to wash with touchless? Heard people bring up concern with degradation of rubber trim/coatings/sealants? Trust your advice over joe schmoe in the youtube comment sections though.
You said you’re running this at a 1:2 to 1:3 mix, do you worry about the PIR in that case? When I run mine at 4% max it is far runnier so genuinely wondering if I’ve calculated my ratio wrong - not sure I should be too concerned as it still removed grime, bird crap, bug splats etc with ease.
@@Niko-xz5lk Thanks, I appreciate that but hasn’t made a difference with previous brand pre-washes e.g. Polar Blast, and the new Halfords stuff (which is awful), and for these I’ve easily used cold water and the Polar Blaster with. This is why I was asking if this level of foaming is normal and if perhaps my calculation was wrong, assuming he was using it at 4% PIR. I know for the BH Auto Foam they explicitly state it shouldn’t be too foamy and would expect the same for Touchless, but I have watched Forensic Detailing Channel for a while now and respect his advice/use of products, so thought I’d ask the question.
I had the same problem and managed to increase the thickness of the Touchless foam by mixing it with distilled water in my MTM PF 22.2 foam canon. I live in SE England and the tap water is really hard here. Not so sure about using warm water🤔
yer warm water makes no difference. In fact I dont think you are supposed to use warm water with autofoam. Its ok with touchless though. either that or the other way around. really the foaming level is not important as well.
@@rogerthomas4590It could be the PSI of your pressure washer, check the working PSI of your foam cannon and compare it. If it's low you could try a 1.1mm nozzle. Working PSI for most foam cannons is from 1000 psi to around 3500 psi, but budget pressure washers usually do under 1000.
@dnxb1t its not that I changed the nozzle over with the spare 1 that comes with the cannon. I own 3 cannons and a karcher k6 so it's definitely not a cheap pressure washer. Using the AD and auto glym even auto finesse and cheap turtlewax gives a thick foam. I'm not convinced snowfoaming is all that it's made out too be . I've done my own comparisons and they all seem too do the same thing and too me it's the jetvwash it's self that takes the dirt off
@@rogerthomas4590Your getting worked up over no major foam. Bilt Hamber pretty much say too much foaming isn’t ideal (can’t remember the exact wording, maybe I’m thinking of the Auto Foam). Mine comes out far runnier than this at a max PIR of 4%, and works wonders down to 2%. I’ve used AutoGlym Polar Blast and it’s high foaming but absolute rubbish as a pre-wash. In saying all this you could also have an equipment issue.
A few quick questions if you can answer them. I know of a few detailers that don't rate BH Touch-Less because of the cling time. What's your opinion on this? And does cling time really matter? I use AG Polar Blast which is decent all-rounder for me, but not ideal for winter washes as it doesn't remove much grime (and a pain in the arse to rinse away). Also, what do you think about rinseless as a substitute for snowfoam followed by a jet wash? It's a lot cheaper if it does the job between contact washes. Sexy E36 by the way ❤
That looks very different to Autofoam, much thicker. I think I'll grab that when the AF runs out.
verry satisfying keep up the work
How many mL of touchless did you use to coat entire car ?
BH FANS 🎉🎉🎉
Ive got this stuff how much touchless to 28 0z of water thanks
What volume of liquid did you use there?

ava p55 go is great for car. not great for massive patio blast down though, small patio fine, big patio you need bigger unit i think.
Is it fine to use 1:2-1:3 dilution? When the Touchless bottle says 2% PIR
He’s referring to the pir.
What do you mean by touchless?
No need to do the contact wash? or
No need to do prewash?
no its a prewash mate its called touch-less

Wash as often as you want. You will hear a lot of cr4p about bh products.
@@ForensicDetailing thanks buddy. You rule. Appreciate your hard work and your videos.
My BH touchless doesn't come out as thick as this?
Yeh his is thick af for using 1:3 in 1 liter lance which is only 250ml

Make sure to use a quality cannon like this MJJC Pro, and use warm water also.

I've got this and don't rate it at all. What ratio you using as I don't seem too get hardly any foam
yer so forget about thick foam. If you want thick foam use like AD magifoam or wax planet 8 below.
@ForensicDetailing yeah I have AD foam and auto glym. Thought I'd try this 1 but don't seem to get a foam .

Touchless seems more suited to winter dirt than the previous BH. I'll continue to swap with the seasons!
Touchless does not need dwell time. Mild foams need to dwell. Touchless had done it's thing after a minute.
Have tried both and the Touchless is incredible.
What is touchless about it?
@@joebeeston1995 Guess its because its a 'spray on spray off' concept, no sponge required with this product.
