@@SilencerCo I picked mine up back in April after a surprising “only” 93 day wait. It is really amazing. I’ve used it on everything from my 10.5 556 SBR to my Glock 45 MOS to a Savage 112 338 Lapua Magnum. No issues, and this very well might be the best suppressor on the market for it’s versatility. I do wish that a 22 caliber front end plate didn’t cost as much as it did for a hunk of metal. I just had to break down and buy one because the 30 caliber hole made the 556 Way Way too loud.

With the SilencerCo TriLug being perpetually will other brands that are the same thread pitch work on the suppressor? (IE YHMs TriLug)
I have the quick asr mount and after shooting it the first time I noticed that the asr mount was pretty loose, I could take it off with my hands. I don’t plan going direct thread or piston so would it be fine if I put a little blue lock tite to hold it in place?
Does the ASR same as with the Omega 300 and SpecWar work with it? Also does the Octane pistons work with it?

Take the tools to the range and check after every mag. My Charlie ASR mount came loose from the main body in under 100 rounds. Luckily I brought tools.

your gonna need the "charlie piston mount" and a 1/2 -28 Piston
So let's say I have a rifle and a pcc like the scorpion, all I need is either a direct thread adapter, or, an ASR muzzle device, and everything else I need is already included in the box. There are other options as well, such as the 3 lug for the scorpion, but that also requires the additional purchase of the 3 lug mount for the silencer body. I'm hoping this is correct, there are so many options that it's a bit confusing for newbs (like myself). I do enjoy options but I also don't want to be spending $200 in adapters for each gun lol, and yeah you can make all the poor jokes you want, but I stand by being at least somewhat frugal lol
We are here to help!
First off, the Omega 36M ships with the Suppressor, an ASR Mount, and an ASR Muzzle Device threaded in 5/8x24.
If your rifle is threaded in a 5/8x24 thread pitch then you'll be able to run the suppressor out of the box using the included ASR muzzle device and ASR mount.
If your rifle is any other thread pitch then you have two options. You can pick up an ASR Muzzle device with the correct thread pitch or you can buy a Charlie Pattern direct thread mount that matches your thread pitch and run it direct thread.
For the Scorpion you'll have a 1/2x28 thread pitch (unless it's a Gen1 Scorpion). You can choose to run a 3 Lug, Direct Thread, or ASR on a platform like that.
The simplest and most cost effective way to run the Omega 36M on multiple platforms is definitely using the ASR system. Your Omega 36M will already have an ASR mount out of the box and can be installed on any host that has an ASR muzzle device.

Will the Pistons from a Brovo (Hybrid 46) fit the Charlie mount for mounting to pistols?

I am currently playing with a 350 legend AR . The can I use for my subsonic loads is the osprey 45 with the 5/8x24 adapter . It works great with the subs . However I do want to use it on full strength loads because of its materials and design . Which can would work good with the full power loads and be the most cost effective ?
Omega 9k so long as the barrel length is 16'' or greater.

@@nickf5556 The Omega 9k is the more "cost-effective" option which is what the original commenter requested. The Omega 36M is definitely rated for the 350 Legend however.
Will I need a piston to run it on my MPX K with asr flash hider?

It wasn't until this month that US suppressors could even be exported for consumer sale. Probably be another year before anyone get's the relationships set up to sell internationally.

The Chimera does not have any barrel restrictions and aside from performing well on regular length barrels it can also be used on short barrels.

I'm having trouble with TOO MUCH binding of my direct thread insert! A real PIA to get out when I want to switch to a ASR mount. Any suggestions? Anti-seize compound? Special "grease" to minimize binding? Some recommendation to pry it out without damaging the threads? Thanks

How does the 36M perform compares to omega 9k in the short configuration? Is this 300 blackout supersonic rated or sub only?
Sounds is very comparable. It can handle subs and supers in the short config no problem.

All of our rifle suppressor bores are cut with an Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) which leads to maximum POI consistency and repeat-ability. Our ASR Mounting system is also designed to assure that the suppressor's POI will remain the same no matter how many times you put on and remove your suppressor.

What does it weigh with the asr mount attached? Your website says 12.5 oz, but most reviews say 17.5 in the long configuration with the asr mount?
do you have a direct thread in m14 x 1? I have Beretta's new 92A1 and it has the M14 x 1 threaded barrel, so I need the proper adaptor!
We do not make anything in the m14x1 thread pitch. I don't believe any manufacture makes a piston in that thread pitch to be honest. It's generally used for AK platforms. We do make a drop in barrel for the 92A1 that uses the much more common 1/2x28 thread pitch.

What is the average dB rating in short configuration when shooting 9mm 147gr? will it suffice for home defense and not cause permanent hearing damage, will I still need long configuration, or will it just cause less and even else respectively?
On a handgun in short configuration you're going to be in the mid 130's on average. This of course is a significant reduction in db's.
So which thread adapter would be best for my bolt gun? The direct thread or the ASR/muzzle brake ?
Both attachment types offer different pros. If you plan on using your 36M on multiple hosts then you will want to consider the ASR System for quick removal and attachment across several hosts. If the 36M is going to be more of a dedicated suppressor for your bolt gun, and you'd like to keep things as light as possible, go with direct thread.
Is there a deadair keymo adapter?
I would really like to get this can for a 300blk rattler (5.5”bbl). However the min barrel restriction for this is 7” for supersonic. Just 1.5” shy. Is there more testing that can be done to see if the O36m will be okay on a rattler? I notice that the other omegas cannot handle 338LM, and have slightly longer restrictions than the 36m for most calibers. However the 36m shares the same barrel restriction as the other omegas on 300blk super. I just wonder if it’s actually capable of slightly more, but hasn’t been tested yet...

Why put a can on a 300 blk if you're going to shoot supers. The whole point of the cartridge is to be able to shoot subs out of a semiauto gun.
I have the 36M (in jail) for the Sig Rattler, 300 blkout. From what I read there's no barrel length restriction with the 300 blkout.
Also Dominic E, you can run subs and supers with the can. Noise reduction, is noise reduction.

It sure does! Just make sure you get the KEYMO that is made for the "Saker/Chimera" as it fits Charlie style suppressors which is what the 36M uses.

I really wish your direct thread mount had external wrench flats for proper torque to barrel! Hand tight is useless on a semi auto.

What barrel restrictions does the 36m have? I want to buy it for a Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW 300 blk that has a 7” barrel.
Terry no restrictions on 9mm or 300BLK.
Stay away from 4" 30-06 barrels

Can I thread the suppressor on a asr muzzle brake on my cz scorpion in 9mm?
Absolutely. I'd recommend our single port brake for the Scorpion.
question: are all of these parts available freely? i know atf does that "any part of a suppressor is a suppressor" bullshit, but if i buy one of these that comes with the 9mm end cap, and then a year later i want to get the 223 flash hider end cap, is that a simple transaction, or does it need paperwork?

All my Long Guns have Griffin Taper Mounts. Is there an adapter available that would allow this Can to work for me?
Griffin chose to go with a less used mounting pattern as opposed to using the more commonly used Alpha, Bravo, Charlie mounting systems. The Omega 36M interfaces with and is compatible with any Charlie mount.

It does not matter. It's good to go on 300wsm no problem.

Since this is a 36 caliber can I'm assuming I assume this is rated for 357 magnum say on a Henry Silverboym Also I understand it isn't user serviceable, but can this be used with smaller calibers such as 22LR, 5.7, 17HMR?
Definitely rated for .357! You never want to shoot rimfire cartridges through a non-serviceable suppressor due to how dirty they are and the buildup that occurs over time. Any center fire cartridge such as .17hmr or 5.7 is perfectly fine.
I am assuming that my pistons for the osprey 45 would be compatible with the 36. Is this correct?

The bright white firearm on the wall is a CMMG Banshee chambered in .45acp.
When will the piston housing and 3 lug mount be available? Not finding them on your website and trying to get what I need while I wait for the stamps for the 36m and Switchback.

As long as your Win Mag is threaded 5/8x24 then yes. The Omega 300 comes with an ASR Brake, ASR Mount, and Direct Thread mount. Both the Brake and the Direct Thread mount are threaded in 5/8x24.
Pay attention: you cannot use this as it comes straight out of the box. You must also invest quite a bit of money in their mounts. It would have been nice if they had included a coupon for one mount option, considering the price of this unit and the difficulty of finding the Charlie mounting options in stock. I am unable to use mine on anything other than 5/8-24 due to no store having any other options in stock. I am quite disappointed with Silencerco, feeling a bit like they are nickel and dimeing me. I purchased this as my first suppressor, mainly because it was compatible with so many calibers. Shame on me for not doing more research to find out how much more it was going to cost to be able to use the suppressor on more than one gun. I probably wouldn’t have bought this if I had known. My fault, but I can’t help feeling a little hoodwinked.
Yep, for a grand you should at least get one muzzle break/flash hider mount. Thanks for pointing this out. I was considering one of these but having to spend a hundred more just to get it operational was the straw that broke this camel's back.
@@stevenweaver6845 Disappointed that not even ONE adapter included. Not even a coupon for one. You are fortunate to have accessories available. I have not been able to find a single direct thread adapter for 1/2 or 5/8. This makes it an expensive paper weight.
The Griffin Optimus is the same way. Just be aware modularity means investing in mounting systems. My advice buy dedicated suppressors. They tend to be a better deal but these do make good first suppressors especially if you invest in just the 3lug system.

How is the suppression vs the hybrid? Looking to get my first supressor.
Just as good or better on most calibers due to the smaller bore size but the 36m does not support calibers larger than 9mm.

Since your tri lugs, piston housings (anything charlie), are unobtainable and youre backlogged almost 2 years out on existing orders....what are our options for tri lug here? I went obsidian tri lug mount in lieu of your absent one and am now needing to deal with the piston housing issue.....YHM makes a neilsen booster assembly thats marketed at being able to work with si co stuff. Would this combo work for us? Dropped a lot of cash on this and its essentially a paperweight for me with its included ASR mount as no other mounts are available anywhere......

Absolutely. You can use it in the long or short configuration as well.
Does it works for 45 acp handgun too?
The 36M will not work with 45acp but the Hybrid 46M definitely will!

I bought mine one month ago the store had it in stock I can shoot it as long as I use it there and I have my throne number because I have my hands on it. I shot it today for the first time only 4 inch 9 mm with 124 ball ammo. I was not impressed at all.I’m gonna try 147 grain tomorrow. I don’t know where I will get sob sonic Ammunition right now

@@unknownm8569 None of the Multi-Cal suppressors on the market that we are aware of come with all compatible accessories. They come with a piston housing and a single muzzle device. The Omega 36M is compatible with over 20 accessories not counting all the possible piston configurations. Including all of these would not only be very expensive but useless for most consumers who only need a couple of accessories for their needs. It's much better to keep the initial cost down of the suppressor and let the consumers choose what they need for their particular setups.
@@SilencerCo No need to defend your company's decisions to me. Your a high end suppressor company as is didnt assume the cost would be lower. Besides if this suppressor does all it says it can and efficiently it's worth the price in comparison to purchasing multiple cans and paying multiple b.s. tax stamps. I like the product thus far have to find someone who owns one to test before I buy. Being a working class family man have to be very mindful of exactly what I'm getting for the pop$ lol. Thanks again

@@mattburke9308 i just bought the piston housing for 150 shipped. and now i need to spend 125 on capitol armory for the tri-lug mount. 275 to trilug this. the silencer comes with the charlie asr mount and no muzzle devise. so the reality is even brand new one has to and must buy silencerco accesory to mount it at all. other models they use to include at least a flash hinder or brake so you could mount it right outta the box. calling it nickel and dime is generous. @silencerco
End cap for .45 cal? I shoot a bolt action carbine chambered in .45ACP. "Nelson" type device not needed due to fixed barrel action. Configuration for that set up?
wybobhom 45 is bigger than 36.
@wybobhom Yea this silencer only goes up to 36 caliber. If you're shooting 45 cal, you'll need a different silencer.
A bolt action carbine sounds like a good time! The Omega 36M does not have a bore size compatible with 45acp. It supports 9mm and smaller. However, take a look at our Hybrid, Octane 45, Osprey 45, and Omega 45K suppressors.
All the attachments I need are out of stock and are going to cost a fuck ton... why not include at least a break?

Just looked it up on your website. "fully welded core" This is why I will never buy another product from you. Too bad.
Howard Z virtually all rifle suppressors have welded cores, as do many of the top pistol caliber suppressors on the market.
Howard Z you're not going to be able to buy from any of the top companies if that's your criteria.
Rifle suppressors must be welded to withstand the pressure of large caliber rounds. A non-welded suppressor (such as the octane) would be destroyed by large calibers.
Looking at the website, all silencerco centerfire pistol suppressors are welded too. Like I said, won't ever buy a welded one.
Kinda shocked at how much the pistons and inserts are though. All are like $100 for a suppressor that already costs $1k
So why not just tell us it also works on a 22 lr
So I noticed there are notches lined up inside my suppressor. I had an issue with a warranty claim however I think they didn’t address the damage inside. Doesn’t look like baffles. Anyone else see a cutout inside their suppressor?
This is how baffles are purposefully designed. You will not see a perfect concentric circle when looking down your suppressor. You will see a "keyhole" all the way through.
