You guys are too funny. Glenn Danzig is 6'5" worth of man, squeezed into a 5'2" frame. I'm only 5'4" and I was shocked when I meet him after a show. My Girlfriend at the time wanted an autograph so we waited near his bus, and yelled when he came out. He came over to the group of fans waiting, and he could not have been nicer. This was before the internet and I was shocked when he walked up and I saw how short he was. On stage he looked 10 feet tall. I always liked his music.
it's evil elvis and bastard son of jim morrison guy!! godfather of horror punk, the misfits and then samhain and verotik comics!!! i know him well since 1983!!!
Hey Kathy, y'all once again your facial expressions crack me up. Lulu cracks me up too between each others bantoring. Donna's the referee between Kathy and Lulu. Take care
@andrewelliott2582 I was already into Steve Vai's album Flexable when I heard that song. Playing every note of a chord as a separate track is a big dick move. Side note, what do you think of Vai joining up with Belew and Levin? I bought tickets the second I heard.
@andrewelliott2582 I would listen to that album walking between classes on Fridays. Chem exam at whatever am and econ exam after. Does anyone need it spelled out why ASU fucks? It's hot, nobody wears too much, devil is on the radio at a school with a devil as a mascot...
As I was watching this I was thinking, the one in the middle is too young-she's not impressed-the one on the right is too old-she's confused-but the one on the left LOVES IT. Then you paused the video and the first comments y’all made confirmed my assessment haha .... this was great.
Here's a Danzig fun fact : Glenn is originally from Lodi, New jersey (which is my home state !) one of his biggest influences were Elvis Presley & Lou Reed growing up.
@Cargeorge996 As for Glenn's heavy blues influences... so was Screamin' Jay Hawkins as well as Chester A. Burnett (better known as Howlin' Wolf), along with Willie Dixon and a number of other old-school Mississippi-Delta and Chicago Bluesmen that were major figures on Chess Records. On Danzig's 1988 debut album... while the liner notes state "All songs written by Glenn Danzig", the song 'The Hunter' was written by Booker T. & the M.G.'s and Carl Wells and was originally recorded and performed by Albert King with the Danzig version of the song featuring only slightly modified lyrics. Concerning Willie Dixon... back in early 1992, Glenn's agent at the time (Marc Geiger) knew Willie Dixon personally and that he (Dixon) lived in the nearby city of Glendale. Glenn met Dixon at his garage-studio and told him about his song “Heart of the Devil” and that Glenn wanted to record it as a duet with Dixon. Much to Glenn's delight... Dixon was all for it. The plan was for Dixon to record the song with Glenn for what would become the HTGK sessions in Los Angeles. Danzig (the band) was going on tour and would record the song when he / they returned. Sadly... legendary bluesman Willie Dixon died of heart failure on January 29th, 1992. Danzig would record “Heart of the Devil” without him and included the fiery track on Danzig-III: How The Gods Kill as a lasting tribute.
This song was written against the PMRC censorship. Thanks Pipa Gore you made finding hardcore music easier to find. Glenn is also the lead singer of the Misfits
Lol Glenn Danzig does weight lifting and trains in Jeet Kun do... He was the original singer and founder of the punk band The Misfits from the 70's to early 80's then he formed another punk band called SAMHAIN , after 4 albums Glenn Danzig formed his solo band Danzig.still active in music, makes comics, movies, and art. Even writing music for Roy Orbisin and Johnny Cash. Recently he reformed The Misfits and on tour now
Ol' Muscle Metal Elvis does kick a lot of ass. I enjoy his solo work better than when he was with The Misfits, but that's sacrilegious to say for some people. Hope you like shorter guys, Kathy. :) Glenn Danzig is 5' 3".
Mom's face....hahahahahahaha You know when a word is repeated so many times you start to lose its form and it sounds weird? Wrestler. "I think he works out." 😂
What makes Glenn Danzig so iconic, in my opinion, is that he is known for founding three musical projects: Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig; and what makes each of the three projects special is that they don't exactly fit in any other genre. They are each one of those bands that creates their own genre (much like Prince, The Beastie Boys, Rush, and others). Also, I think Mom's going to listen to this song a few more times 😉
4:05 Start by watching Kathys expression. Now slowly move your eyes over to Lulu. And as a bonus, now scan those eyes over to Donna Lulu was not having it Thanks for having me nonstop laughing!
Kathy...you are cracking me up! 😂 Lulu, I think you should give him points for his belt buckle. And to be fair, this is his job as well so he is no different than The Rock. 😊
I like the concept of Three Generations reacting to music keep it up. I would like to see where this goes. You should react to Nightwish to their video Ghost Love Score with Floor Jansen lead singer it is a live concert it will blow your mind.
Glenn Danzig was the founding vocalist of the iconic horror punk originals: The Misfits. He owns a place in rock n roll history. He was known as The Evil Elvis and had several successful solo albums with the band Danzig in the 90's. He was never a pro wrestler. But Jerry Only and Doyle of The Misfits, with their new lead singer Michale Graves, did appear in World Championship wrestling alongside Mexican wrestling legend Vampiro.
Lol, Y'all are hillarious. 1) Glenn is not a wrestler, He's Evil Elvis. Lol. 2) I can't believe y'all have never heard of Danzig, they've been one of my favorite bands for 35 years or longer lol. 3) Glenn was first the Front man of The Misfits, went on to form Samhain, and then moved on into his most succesful venture as Danzig . I've corresponded and got to know their bassist Eerie Von over the years, did an interview with him and stuff for a radio show I used to host. They're all great guys, Unfortunately that original Danzig band isn't together anymore, but Glenn does still tour under the name with a new band, he also does live shows with The Misfits here and there. Y'all keep having fun, Kathy's kinda cute in her repression... Oh, and PS Kathy... before you get too excited, Glenn Danzig is like 5' 2'' 😂
Glenn Danzig (vocals) formed the band Danzig in the 80's after meeting producer Rick Rubin, who convinced the singer to disband his previous band Samhain and start a new band... This was their debut album in 1988. Some more Danzig songs - 'Dirty black summer' ... "Devil's plaything"... 'Twist of Cain'... 'Cantspeak'... Before Danzig, vocalist Glenn Danzig was in the horror punk rock band The Misfits from 1977 to 1984... they weren't commercially successful and the band split acrimoniously in '84... Many bands were inspired by the Misfits and Metallica covered 2 of their songs - "Last caress/ Green Hell" ... and 'Die, die my darling"... He formed the short-lived band Samhain which had a different, gothic sound... Ultimately, he formed Danzig w/ John Christ (guitar), Eerie Von (bass) and Chuck Biscuits (drums)... They released 4 successful albums of dark, hard rock for Rick Rubin's American Recordings - 'Danzig' (1988)... 'Danzig II: Lucifuge' (1990)... 'Danzig III: How the gods kill' (1992)... and 'Danzig 4' (1994) ... In 1995, Danzig parted ways w/ Rick Rubin and the original band split up... Danzig returned in 1996 w/ new members and the album 'Blackacidevil'... then, "6:66 Satan's child" in 1999... "I, Luciferi" in 2002... 'Circle of snakes' (2004) ... etc. The Misfits reformed in the 90's w/ Jerry Only (bass) from the original band without Glenn Danzig... and the band found a newer generation of fans had emerged... In 2016, Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only finally made peace and reunited to play occasional shows as The Misfits til today... and still records as Danzig w/ Glenn Danzig at age 69.
I've only head the first two Danzig albums, they're both classics well worth listening to. He's also the original singer of legendary punk band The Misfits, who you may have never heard but I guarantee you've seen their skull logo. The Misfits have many songs worth reacting to, such as Last Caress, Horror Business, Hybrid Moments, Astro Zombies... there's so many!
Oh Kathy and your glistening deep vess and shirtless men your soo funny that what makes it so fun for us to watch you and Lulu says keep your shirt on too lol Wintersun Alex ❄️🫶
😂 this is my new favorite reaction video. Unfortunately nowadays he doesn’t look quite the same. Last picture I saw of him he was totally bald! Lost his glorious locks! 😂
You all wanna groove again like Donna was in the back there lol. Check out Silverchair. tracks you might enjoy are Tomorrow, Emotion Sickness and of course, Ana's song (Open Fire). Loved the vid and subbed, keep them coming.
One word to describe Kathy's reaction.....moist.
"The night was moist" lol what movie is this from? Lol
Kathy, you're drooling! 🤭😄😂
Yeah, she sure was!😂😂
@joshuaboudreau5258 Ow, just a little....😉😄

Oh, my God... I don't think I have ever laughed so much at a reaction. The family dynamic was hilarious.

I dont thin they understand the dude is SMURF small, no shit, 5'3 is small!!!
I had a homie/roadie shorter than that who could do the deepest growl and LOUD! Some things are just cool like that. Love you, Gustadino!

Why you wanna bring up old...Awesome, fun stuff? Next y'all gunna talk Samhain and whatnot. Clearly that teenager is from mars and she don't care.

@@deadliestassassin3092 Ooh that's a sick punk classic
Wtf I'm soooo late to this party. I'm sorry for posting things you all brought up 2 weeks ago 😅
Danzig is basically half Elvis and half Jim Morrison meets Metal.
Add Roy Orbison too.
More like a 1/4 of each and missing the rest.
Mets wrestler
“Oh, dear.” I LOLed at that. Glen Danzig’s nickname is Evil Elvis. You can probably see why.
it's evil elvis and bastard son of jim morrison guy!! godfather of horror punk, the misfits and then samhain and verotik comics!!! i know him well since 1983!!!
This song was to protest against the women that demanded that there needs to have warning labels on all music sold to the public.
Oh, the innocence!
Hey Kathy, y'all once again your facial expressions crack me up. Lulu cracks me up too between each others bantoring. Donna's the referee between Kathy and Lulu. Take care
Her Black Wings is one of my favorites from this era of his career. The guitar track layering is amazing.
I totally agree. Her black wings was their first song I ever heared and I was instantly hooked. Great band 🤘🏻😎
@andrewelliott2582 I was already into Steve Vai's album Flexable when I heard that song. Playing every note of a chord as a separate track is a big dick move. Side note, what do you think of Vai joining up with Belew and Levin? I bought tickets the second I heard.

I had a feeling Kathy would like Glenn Danzig 👍🤘🤘👍😁

Danzig would record “Heart of the Devil”
without him and included the fiery track on
Danzig-III: How The Gods Kill
as a lasting tribute.
"Cant Speak" or "How the Gods Kill" by Danzig would melt the mama. 😂😂😂
This instantly went on someone "private" playlist for further review. I always thought of him as Heavy Metals version of Elvis
Other Danzig songs that might interest you are: ''How The Gods Kill'' ''Twist of Cain'' ''Devil's Plaything'' ''Sistinas'' ''I Don't Mind The Pain''
I'd guess if Glen Danzig made her react like that, then Peter Steele of Type O Negative will give her a nuclear meltdown.
When Comic-Acurate-Wolverine sings like metal Elvis.
🤣🤣🤣
Saw Danzig open for Metallica in 1994, great show even without his shirt!
Glenn Danzig was also the lead singer of a punk band called The Misfits. You should check into them too. He has also acted in several B horror movies.
Lol. So funny to hear a southern perspective. The middle girl is delightfully naive. Fantastic. As she grows up.... 😅😂
4:06 is the best reaction I've seen to this video.
I think Kathy needs a moment alone.
