It was only 5 days! It was heavier the first two days then light the rest. I have almost no cramps! That was the BEST! I had to wear pads like my first 2 cycles, but I'm back to tampons now. Hope this helps :) Good Luck!
Tiana Smith Thank you so much! Very helpful!I’m considering getting a Myomectomy. I’m 29. I’m on Danazol right now which stops my bleeding all together and no cramps. I do have occasional spotting which obgyn said is fine.
I just had a myomectomy last month, this is week 3 for me. My lower stomach feels so weird, like numb almost. I hate it lol! Did you have any issues with urination in your recovery? Emptying my bladder hurts ugh
There is one spot on my lower stomach are still numb! I always forget since I can't feel anything. My bladder is back to normal. For a while my entire stomach would cramp if I allowed my bladder to get full. I don't have that issue anymore. I honestly don't remember what week that went away. Does in hurt in your stomach or down in your lady parts? It is possible to get a bladder infection too. Especially if you had a catheter I think.
Its like really low in my abdomen. Like right above my ladyparts. There was blood in my catheter right after my surgery. I have done 2 rounds of antibiotics. Voltaren has been really good for pain management but how long could I possibly take those for so I only take them if the pain gets really bad
Oh man! Well stay on top of it. You don't want to have a lingering infection for sure. Maybe just monitor your pain over the next week and the smell of your urine (not to be gross, but 🤷🏽♀️). You can always make an appointment for a week out too and just cancel it if you start to feel better.
OMG, SO MUCH BETTER! I've never really had a heavy flow except for the month that I was taking the IVF meds. I did, however get the worst cramps of life every cycle. Now, my cramps are almost nonexistent and my cycle is a breeze. I really hope it stays this way.
Hi, what did your dr say about that pain you're experiencing? I'm almost 3 months post op and have the same/similar pain. Only seeing Dr at the end of Jan
I found your channel while dealing with the news of my upcoming myomectomy. I can't believe I'm almost 8 weeks post surgery already and I'm already back at work on Wednesday the 6th. I'm trusting that your conception would work out faster than you imagine. I'm praying to conceive in May for our 2nd baby and hopefully we can go through the pregnancy journey together for safe and easy full term delivery of healthy babies.
Praise God! Yes to ALL of it! lol Happy to hear you are back up and working. Time really does go by fast. Keep us posted on your journey! We love baby news :)
My myomectomy is in a week and I’m very nervous. I’m supposed to be in a wedding 3 weeks after and am not sure how I’ll be able to walk after seeing so many videos.
A Wedding?! Yeah, you are definitely going to need to take it easy up to the point that you need to walk down the isle. It's doable though! Just avoid wearing heels. Your core probably won't feel strong enough to support that. You've got this!!!
Thank you for sharing!! This is your year girl I am praying for you guys!
What was your first period like since having the myomectomy?

Also, wear a belly band under your dress!
@@tianasmith8955 oh great idea, thank you! I assume the hospital release you with a binder or band but will definitely get some just in case.
