    Thanks for all your free info. Because of you mostly (a few others have helped) I have made a small profit twice a month for the past 3 months. Please announce when your book comes out. I want a copy. You have the ability to take something complicated and make it easy to understand. Keep up the good work. Bless you.

    Hey, Tracy! Thank you for the motivation. I've been trying to get on my feet for the last 6 months now as a single mother with an almost 2 year old, reselling part time for now. I am finally making a small profit, very small profit. I have tried eBay and ran out of things in my house to sell and after a while I couldn't make it to the auctions to buy more stuff because I ran out of money. I started FBA to offset my couponing at the grocery stores and CVS. Made a couple dollars on those. I found a few places to do RA at, but the profit is very small for high-ranking toy items and I couldn't seem to buy enough to be worth the time. Definitely no clearance items discounted 75-90%. I was lucky to get 50%. With a small child around and little help, I have been trying to find other ways to acquire inventory. I can't shop for hours in a day anymore, so I am looking into OA. Have you done that? Do you have any tips? Thank you so much for everything you do!!! :)

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  9 років тому

      +iamdiva Yes, RA is very time consuming and even harder with a toddler. OA can have smaller profit margins but overall can be better because of the time (=money) and how it can boost your in warehouse inventory. I have been adding more videos about OA and hope you have been watching. More to come!!

    As usual Tracy, a great video. I have been so encouraged by your work. I have spent the last 6 months doing research in all the areas of the business and am about to launch my effort by the end of this week. I have assembled the technology I need, some product and find that I am scared to death! But with encouragement such as yours, I will persist. I thank you and look forward to seeing your new website as soon as it gets launched.

      +Lee Parmenter Was hoping for an update Lee.....? :)

    • @leeparm45
      @leeparm45 9 років тому

      +EntrepreneurGirl Hi There! Since the end of July, I have gone full-time into FBA and am about to start ebay by next week, I hope. Currently, I have close to 1000 books listed in FBA and just started to send in retail arbitrage products. It is a joy to get up each morning and see the sales counter clicked higher, almost each day. The biggest challenge I find is being disciplined enough to turn away from products if the margins are not enough. It's the same amount of work if I sell a $5 book and make $1 versus selling a $95 book and making $75. So, working on better quality inventory seems to be a critical factor in my overall success, and I wouldn't have realized that so soon unless I had heard you share it in your videos. Thank you!

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  9 років тому

      +Lee Parmenter What a great update! So happy things are coming along nicely. Yes, the inventory choices are something you learn over time and out of necessity. So glad you are utilizing it early in your game :) Keep me posted!!!

    I never see you take photos so is it okay to use Amazon stock photos. When you did your shopping at Kohls and the scanner depicted the same item on Amazon prime, I just assumed you used the stock pic since your item was identical. Thanks for sharing as your videos help a a great deal.

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  9 років тому

      +jojohot100 Yes, that is what is so wonderful and time saving about Amazon... you don't have to take all the photos like you do on ebay... they want you to use stock unless you are creating a new listing.

    Great videos, practical and thought inspiring. Would there be any challenges I should think about when selling items I find while traveling to other countries and shipping from those locations if I'm so lucky as to need to do that?

    I don't understand how you can do resale arbitrage??? Target Walmart or any stores don't put stuffs on sale enough for a full time income.

    You mentioned in another video that the limit was 10 items. If I sell those 10 items and do well, how much can I expect to be increased in terms of how many items I can sell. Thanks

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  9 років тому

      +april murphy Every 30 days you call and get increased... I can't remember exactly how much by, but I'm thinking to around 100...?

    Don't you need to have a checking account? I already signed up for both Ebay and Amazon, but not sure if you can sign up without some kind of bank account. People need to know that before signing up and not everyone has that...just saying. Great video btw!

    Just Curious what is your eBay address and your Amazon address. I follow your videos because you are real! You inform your audience in a down to earth, practical way how to approach online selling as a business. I am learning a bunch!! But I do not see your Web addresses anywhere. Please post so I can see you in action! Thanks a bunch, Phyllis

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  9 років тому

      +Phyllis St.Cyr Hey Phyllis! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so glad that my sincerity comes through, because I really do care about you and your success. However, I do not give my ebay and amazon info out. I'm grateful for the many lovers, but unfortunately, there are also some haters, and I choose not to open myself up to the (potential) negative critique. I hope everyone can understand this....

    Hi can you answer my question just started a month ago and getting one to two sales a day .but every time I send in a shipment the fees come from my account than I have sales than send in another shipment have fees out again what can I do to see this really work ? I'm reinvesting the money I'm getting from the sales.

    • @EntrepreneurGirl
      @EntrepreneurGirl  8 років тому

      +Erica Andrade You will need to sale more than the fees. My guess is you are not listing enough product....? Maybe. ua-cam.com/video/t7FOuTiCdp4/v-deo.html may help break it down for you as far as how much you should strive to list.
