Hi Randy. I'm in the middle of upgrading my tm and I'm on the fence between force or kraken. Just wanted to get your opinion if you had to do it all over again and they are priced pretty much the same which one would you go with?
I have 2 questions. Why when I hiy spotlock it turns hard to the left almost throwing me out the boat? Why when I turn the speed up past have way, the battery light flashes red?
Not the same topic but thought I would ask the expert. Put 3 new Lithium batteries on the force. One of the batteries seems to be discharging faster than the other 2 based on the recharge lights on the NOCO charger. I wouldn't think that's possible unless it's a bad battery as they should all discharge at the same rate.
I’ve always found that the battery with the positive cable hooked to it discharges slightly faster. I don’t know why. Shouldn’t be like that but that’s my personal experience
Mine is remarkably more ill mannered that this. Man it spins and spins. There is virtually always a flush at least 20-30 feet in front of the motor. Totally spooks the fish. Even when I make sure I’m at 0 mph when I activate it.
@@The_Garmin_Guru I do that as well. It’s just ill mannered. Frustrating. Fished yesterday in low wind and on spot lock the head continually spins back and forth. Creates quite a ruckus in the water. Have to stay 40 feet back of piles or it’s over. I’ve adjusted gain, double tapped, updated , etc. Considering switching at this point.

Buddy has one his bracket is so noisy raising and lowering it ,and steering it. I went with the new quest, love it so quiet
I’ve had many minn kota. Give it time it will get loud. Same mount for 15 years
I'm on 5.2 and it still backs me up like 10 feet... I've just learned to spot lock, disengage, re-spot lock. Super annoying!

How do I know what update I have on my Force ? I tried to update in active Captain and it didn’t show a Download button.
It should show what update you have on active captain. Lately on my force it hasn’t shown when there’s an update it will just kind of update

First you need to set your bow offset. Secondly that means your voltage is dropping to a level that indicates low voltage

I disagree, I was out on the water today and experienced an aggressive 10 ft reverse while anchor locked. Darn near ran me into a dock.

As much as those dadgum things cost they should fix it never thought id see the day of 3 and 5 k TMs
