Great Review! I bought the Garmin Kraken and can't wait to get it installed on my boat!

Totally agree. Just put the kraken on my 22 bay. I've had a Rhodan on my 25cc and an Ulterra on my seadoo trophy. Kraken blows them both away.

      …. Got a Trophy myself
Been looking at the Kraken since the trophy runs a Garmin chart plotter itself..( seems only right to coordinate both pieces of equipment right??)

Please explain using a transducer on a Kraken. I don't understand that scenario. Say I'm using livescope mounted on the Kraken. I've got spot lock on. I'm looking at a brush pile and fish to the starboard. Suddenly spot lock flips the Kraken around 180 degrees because a big gust of wind. Haven't I just lost sight of what I was looking at to starboard? I just don't get mounting a 'targeting' transducer that's going to be flipping around all kinds of directions at the same time I want it to hold still.

Great vid. Thank you. Happen to know anyone who charges their battery on a mooring with solar?

What shaft length did you use on your 18 LTS I have a 21 LTS. And are you running 24V or 36V? Thanks.

i was thinking the same, I saw a video of him on his boat and the trolling motor looks high, I was thinking on getting the 48" for my 18lts ( i have a 54" manual and i think 48 will be enough )

What length shaft did you have on the mako? Putting a 90" on my new Parker 2400. Hope it's not overkill.

What mounting bracket is used on the boat in this video for the kracken?

Looks like he is using the factory quick release bracket. There’s a star board beneath to make it flush with the edge of the gunwale

I grew up on a freshwater lake 20 years ago and was like, can you use trolling motors for saltwater yet or what's up with that lol

Why can’t it be mounted on the fishing rod.

I have 450c Terhi boat, its quite lite, bet not a lot of space to hide batteries:)

For your size of boat I believe you would be running two 12v (24V) but it's always best to check with Garmin's support team for recommendations.
