I'll never understand how the Ruthless Aggression Era can have soooooooo much nostalgic appeal now yet is underrepresented in the 2k games. In 2k17- present We have a Goldberg '04, a 2004 Eddie Guerrero, as of 2k19 we have an '02 Undertaker. Meanwhile Brock Lesnar was on the cover of the game and there's no young Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar '02 for 2k22.
I would love a game dedicated to 2002-2005 like WWE ‘13 did for the Attitude Era, with a healthy roster of Ruthless Aggression guys to save me some CAW slots.

Why did they put Stardust in the game and not Damien Sandow as well? Both Stardust and Damien were released from the company on June of that year, as well as Adam Rose. Why did they only use Stardust from the 3?
Well even if Sandow was employed by the game's release, he probably wouldn't have made it in the game anyway due to how little he was used. At least Stardust was kind of consistently on TV, he just never won matches for shit. Plus, Adam Rose beat his wife...so yeah.

I'm Legends/Old School obsessed, so while it was great to have The Freebirds, the Von Erich's, Sid Vicious and Greg Valentine in the game, to have such a cull from 2K16 was a bitter pill and losing, among others Sgt. Slaughter, Dustin Rhodes, The Honky Tonk Man and Harlem Heat was horrible.
Maybe the comment is buried but I’m surprised no one said anything about AJ Styles with his “video game debut”. Unless you change it to “WWE game” this would be far from true seeing AJ appeared in the TNA iMPACT game for the third generation systems, also appeared for a TNA Nintendo DS game, and I believe he appeared in some mobile TNA game that didn’t garner much attention.

Honestly looking back, 2k16 - 2k19 were pretty solid games. I still religiously play 2k19 because of the amazing creations.
Or it could be that 2k20 was just so horrible that 2k19 was made better by comparison

2K17 was the most fun that I've had with a 2K wrestling game to date, funnily enough mostly due to the My Career mode.
