2K16 was actually good. It had a stacked roster with Tag teams and NXT stars and the star power in the roster was huge. The Austin Showcase was cool too. 2K16 is too overlooked
It’s cuz 2k15 was realllly glitchy, that’s pretty much it.
Last great wwe game imo. Wwe 2k14 is the last really great one.

Also an interesting change I don't think a lot of people caught: During the Bret Hart vs Stone Cold match at IYH 14: Revenge of the Taker, Owen Hart is replaced with Jim Neidhart during the run in spot since they didn't have an Owen model. In the actual match Bulldog and Owen ran in not Neidhart.

Yeah, that does look pretty cool. I was trying to make an In Your House 96 arena, and for some reason, the logo isn't included. They have the entrance part, but you can't add it to the ring apron, etc.
Also this was the last game where you cannot select the target of attack in a multi person match that was included in 2k17

@@CyberSoulLover I recall that being an issue on the PS4/XBO games, I know it was for 2K15, but I had this game for my 360, so I don't know if this game had that problem on current gen versions.

The attitude era content with ps4 graphics plus the terminator definitely made me a fan of this game. In my opinion this alongside with 19 are the best 2k games. I don’t count 14 as that is more of a THQ game.

Cm punk is also mentioned in 2k16 by playing as ryback, Michael Cole will bring up his hell in the cell in 2012 saying "And King I brought up his hell in a cell lose in 2012 but let's not forget that was an epic match with Cm Punk"
They also mention AJ Lee when you play the Paige vs Alundra Blayze match in the other Showcase.

Honestly next to here comes the pain, this is my favorite game. The roster is so awesome to have some of my favorite people like Hollywood rock and others. Yeah no backstage brawl and some features. But it’s still super fun and I play it to this day
Hulk Hogan's removal from all WWE products actually began retroactively as when his comments became public, Sony and Microsoft removed Hogan's DLC from 2k15 from their online stores.

@@tysargent9647 There's no point to do it. Anyone still playing wrestling games have moved on from 2K15, and anyone who doesn't have a more recent game, doesn't play WWE games anymore.

Dude does this with all his videos. There's never an easter egg, he doesn't know what one is.
My guess is it's a secret because some don't know he was actually in the game when it was first being developed.

2K16 is what put me out of wrestling games for a few years. I wasn’t a fan at all but 2K15 was amazing in my opinion. I got heavily invested in online and just have great memories. (I’m talking about the 360 version)
i liked both, mostly because 2k15 presented the ruthless aggression roster whilst 2k16 focused on the attitude era roster, and they were very fun thanks to showcase mode and the roster being nice.

People certainly bitch like they do. They should have gone with Reigns on the other side, like they did with DB and the Rock for 2K14. That was the first game I owned that had a reversible cover.

Yeah, not only was this heavily advertised, almost all sequel wrestling games have a bigger roster than the previous game. The only exceptions that I can think of are 2K15 and 2K20.
I had 2k16 on old gen and it was really solid, showcase mode was great and the roster was great

This one was probably my favorite of the 2K titles. I put a lot of hours into it and still would be playing it if the upload feature was still there (they really need to enable an offline version instead of screwing us over every year) and if they hadn't removed Hogan. Still though best Showcase mode by a mile.
