FINALLY!!! Someone who GETS TO THE POINT of pushing the pin! So many other posts go on and on and on about unrelated instructions. I have the same set of tools from amazon and have figured out how to use them, thanks to YOUR post!!! Thank You!
Good job, @LeeRoy Francis, I was able to bring my ebike back to life, and your instructions as to how to go about removing the wires from a different pattern on my JST SM were spot on.
@@hysteriagaming6294 Wish I could tell you. I have had those for more than 10 years and I believe I bought those in a 99 cent store in NY... No name on them except made in Pakistan
Hi Leroy. You don't need a removal tool. Just pull the pin with your needle nose pliers, and the locking tab will come out far enough for your pliers to flatten it, and then pull on the wire to get it out.
There are no dumb questions. Just use one that will fit. Your goal is to release the pin. The tool just has to be able to reach the release. Thanks for your question.

Thoroughly pleased that it was of use to you..
Good video. I figured out you can just use another male pin as the tool.
Good thought. Thanks for the comment.
😮 That makes perfect sense! I used a safety pin, but next time I'm definitely using a male pin.
Thanks Leeroy. Upgrading my Ender 5 right now and this was exactly what I needed. Very clear!
Righteous. Glad it was useful
I looked everywhere for this video. Thanks!

That did it for me, thank you so much! By the way, I got it done with simple tweezers to lift up and pliers to push it out. Thanks again!

THANK YOU! saved my day🎉
Glad you got some use from the video... Thanks for your comment
Helpful in a pinch! I just extracted my first pin. :)
Appreciate you taking the time to comment
I had a set of these that required a needle pushed on the opposite side (not in those 'spare' holes next to the pin).

But you would not be able to reuse the pin after that. Thanks for your comment.
@@leeroyfrancis9506 Hi Leeroy. You can use the pin afterwards. All you have to do is bend the barb back up. Works perfectly! 😊
Thank you just got into the same problem, but thats to your video,I found some advice here 😊👍👋
Merry Christmas 👋
