- There is a new Rolls-Royce Ghost, and it’s now entirely its own car, with no underpinnings passed across from BMW. With the Phantom having been around for a few years now, Rolls-Royce say this is now the most technologically advanced car they have ever released. But with so much tech and so many luxury features we wondered if it’s a car at all anymore, or is spending time in a Rolls-Royce Ghost more of an experience?

This or an S-Class?
I'm a huge fan of Mercedes-Benz road cars, but without question, the Ghost is far better.
Well, it's a RR... I will never get used to the rear end, something does not say "presence" like the rest of the car... Splendid car nevertheless
I love the new ghost, especially the updated interior. The big seats are nice

Also true of my car, and probably everyone else's!
The exterior styling lets it down a bit, I can see too many styling cues from other marques, which diminishes the distinctive nature of RR branding. Personally, I think Bentley does a better job of styling their cars.
I see a funny circle of style here as well with the back end, Bentley-Hyundai-Rolls Royce; Maybach and Mercedes in there too; I think only Hyundai has matched the amount of blatant lifted style as this Rolls, and that was a while back, I've seen some newer fairly flushed out Hyundai concept cars look better/more luxurious, and authentic than this Rolls.
I'm also beginning to see a bit of '03 '04 Infinity m45 feel going on all around now too. I thought the mid section looked OK, then after looking longer little bland, then more still and M45!
Front is very nice, interior is beautiful but there is something about the Rea rend that doesn't Gell. No paddles - excellent!

I love it and all the ammenities but will never see the day of ownership. I can certainly love it all though. I would hope they are not all Black.

Honestly, no, the car is great no questions asked, but some things are just off putting, especially the exhaust ports, 300k pounds and the exhaust looks like a skoda. The front lights look a bit off. For such an expensive car, there is an awful lot of plastic, like the umbrella pocket in the door and the champagne fridge is kinda dreadful. And yes those are nitpicky complaints, but you know, 300.000 pound car.
Also one last thing, guys maybe straighten out the seatbelts when you show off the interior of a car.

The new Rolls Royce Ghost is still the old Chrysler 300, seriously there are litterally tens of thousands of designers that could do a better job, but that's not what matters to get hired at these companies anymore, it's 100% bureaucracy and politics just like everywhere else, only hire people you know or who have 0 life experience (from cradle through the echo chambers of school straight to the design firm, never even sat in a decent car before the get a design job, let alone drive one, know an owner, or even own a crappy car themselves (seriously!)), your never going to get better than average results with the current hiring strategies. Get your crap together Rolls, when the Bling King copied your design back in the day you should have gone with something else the next generation, now it's multiple generations later and your still stuck on it, it's becoming as bad as early 2000's Bentley's were, looks like it was from 10+ years ago, a basic cheapo design with a bunch of high quality materials and tech thrown at it with hopes it sticks, it seems like a wasted half a$$ effort.
Mr Rolls & Mr Royce would be ashamed of their cars today. Awful german designers who only use a ruler or set square for the exterior design and think that adding an umbrella or LED's in the roof is cutting edge innovation. So outdated it even has a gear stick on the steering wheel as in the 1930's. Hahaha
@@raymondtv A 30's stick would be way better at least it wouls be metal and or wood, this shifter here looks like a plastic column shifter from a Chevy fleet van. lol! Yeah, that's pretty bad.

It's a big BMW. It's not a true Rolls-Royce.
Not surprised RR is going bankrupt with no cutting edge innovation from BMW owners who stupidly believe that gimmicky LED lights, a revolving dashboard, a fridge and a brolly is " innovation." LOL. The gear shift on the steering wheel is a remnant of the 1930's and should be got rid of, whilst there is zero choice for today's discerning customers who care about animals and the planet and demand non leather seats. An utter waste of money and an anachronism in today's world.
If you can afford this you should never be in the front. That is simply crass.
