Man that moment Romark lifted it was just so cool, reminds me why I fell in love with strength; one day something is impossible, and then after training and hardwork, you break through that barrier. It also makes me very proud to see someone like Martins so highly praise the Scottish landscape; its easy to feel it pales in comparison to the majesty of the North American landscape, but it has it's own wholly unique beauty.
Romark is my hero. He goes out and proves hard work, dedication, and perseverance will take a man as far as he is willing to go. It may not mean much coming from an internet stranger who has watched the channel for years but I am damn proud of you Romark!! Martins not to be left out on your own channel you are a giant bad ass in your own right. (The giant pun was entirely intentional) keep up the fantastic work guys you are inspiring a generation of men and women with your well crafted stories and it is extremely appreciated.
As an Aberdonian, I absolutely loved this episode. Even managed to spot myself a couple of times in the crowd for the Dinnie Stones! That was the first time I'd ever attended a strongman event, and now I want to lift the Dinnies myself. Might take a while until I'm that strong though!
“Fight or flight, your choice!” That was absolutely EPIC, well done is and understatement Romark. And the follow up hug letting pure emotion out ♥️ it’s a beautiful sport and amazing support
I actually got a wee chocked up when he lifted the dinnie stones! Love this video mostly due to the fact I'm planning on moving to Scotland by yrs end an this was a bucket list video to travel an lift as many stones as I possibly can. Thank you for the amazing video an all others ❤️
Had to watch it multiple times when remark lift the dinnie stones . Love so much the feeling of happiness that is show us . Can feel it behind the screen
Oh Martins and Romark!! This was so good. Romark born in the Phillipines, serving in American armed forces, and lifting in your military boots with the USA socks was totally awesome! Thank you for your service!
I am a climber who is very light weight but these videos are so awesome! There are so many different kinds of strength and it is easy to recognize and appreciate these lifts even if they are so different from my favorite kind of physical activity!
CONGRATULATIONS to Romark, that is a display of true strength! Physical and mental. People who never tried lifting a stone may not understand. I dabbled a bit with stones up to 90 kg in my garden a few years ago, and I know, how difficult stones can be to lift. Martins pressing those big ones is also very impressive. I love this series of videos. 👍🌞💪🌞👍
Your time in the Basque Country has given you a good technique for those stones. It is wonderful to see how in different and very distant parts of the world there is a very similar relationship between man and stone to demonstrate strength.
I live in Aberdeen and was at the Dinnie Gathering day. It was amazing to see Romark lift the Dinnies!! What a great achievement and you could tell it meant a lot to him! It was also amazing to meet you Martins, my all time favourite WSM!!! Thank you so much for signing my WSM mug of you! Glad you loved my neck of the woods! As you said, it’s a gorgeous place!
I must say... i have been a fan of Martins and Romark for a couple years now and been following their content for a while but this new Strength Unknown stuff is just awesome. Thats what i call quality content. Please continue!
Thank you to Mr. Licis and the 'Wreck it crew' for this series. So amazing for you to share these adventures with all of us and make it feel like we are right there with you!
This series is sooo sooo dope!!!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥 amazing work guys. I’ve always loved watching your channel. My daughter is 5 now but 3 years ago when she was starting to speak I had her chanting Maaaaartttiiiiinnnnnssssss!!!!!!!!!!! It was the cutest thing in the world and you actually won during that year 💪🏼
I was hoping for scotland as one of the places yall went. Another great episode champ. And as usual romark did an amazing job. Thank you guys for what you do, its very much appreciated.
Came here from Magnus video. This was an incredible video. You truly captured the pride and honor of this tradition in an entertaining format. Well done!
I am always so stoked when I see a new Strength Unknown episode. I haven’t looked forward to a UA-cam series like this in a very long time. Keep up the amazing work!
Best video yet showcasing my country. Was great to meet you guys at Donald Dinnie day. Romarck should come back because of his successful lift he can now compete in the Donald Dinnie Games
For people who have a passion for strength these episodes are just unreal all of them! Loved the support from the lads when you tried to press that first stone “ be the first” 💪 amazing
What a great video, thank you, hats off to Romark (apologies on the spelling), I assume, was it Charlie Shanks is related to Jack? Cracking display by Loz. The whole thing reminded me of the old Ironmind book. Thank you Martins.
It's annoying how I lived in Scotland for so many years, knew all about the highland games, didn't know too much about the stones and I wasn't that interested. Now I don't live there anymore I'm obsessed with all this stuff. I wish I could go back and be more bothered lol. Maybe it's not too late, everyone did really well that day, great video man!
Awesome video of my country and most of all my friends that went on the stone tour with you , great lads and well done romark on your lift of the dinnies proud to be Scottish.
Great show, and congrats Romark! Selfishly, I was hoping you'd compete in the highland games, but maybe in a future installment. That being said, awesome job all around.
fantastic films - you guys still prove that the heart is the bigest muscle of the strong men/women - the commeratery and support in this community of strong spirited people is inspiering. Your posts reallt makes a difference💪
I enjoyed every second of this. Thank you Martins & Romark! Sorry it took so long to comment, I thought I already had lol. Keep up your great work 😎👍❤️
Inspired by all this stone lifting marlarky I picked up a big ole slab of sea wall (?) in Whitby ( UK ) no idea of the weight it was sandstone and cut me to ribbons 😂 but lifted it about 4 or 5 times! Maybe only 80-90 kilo or so but awkward lift for a small guy like me.
So awesome and just so primal! I love the tradition that is involved as well. To lift the same stones that people have been doing for years and years is awesome!
amazing ...watching these mini docs just brings into view how beautiful the world and how gorgeous the culture of all people is, all united by strength and determination to better ourselves cheers!!
Yet another fantastic video, and an incredible lift by romark and all other athletes. Your love for strength is evident in all that you do, and it inspires the same love and community in all of us watching. Thank you.
Man I love you two as a team. So emotional seeing Romark go back for a 2nd attempt, crushing it and seeing the look of a proud partner on martins face! Wonderful documentary fellas👍 crushed it again! And way to go Romark! Pushed through an injury and took it on a sec attempt, fuckin stud💪

Incredible video guys 👏🏼 We love going up to the Highlands and it was great to see you both there.
Congratulations on breaking your own world record, Uncle Loz! It's always a delight to see you and Liz at any strength-related event. God bless.
🎉🎉 Great achievement Loz!!!
Romark is the uncontested World's Strongest Camera Man. Huge congrats!
He's the second strongest camera man. Strongest pound for pound for sure.
and the uncontested worlds strongest video editor
@@dustinm800Brian's guy James has to be the strongest
@@ajsbd3815 Yes, no disrespect to Romark, he is incredibly strong.
Thor's old camera guy runar was stronger pound for pound technically. They even had a contest 😂
But we love Romark, killing it dude
Absolutely sensational 👏 so proud to be part of this and lift with you guys. A real honour to have you over, an unforgettable stone tour. 🪨🏴❤️🙌
Thank you guys!

I still think it's absolutely ridiculous chloe Brennan lifted and held those dinnie stones. Insane strength for someone her size
it is legitimately one of the most impressive feats of strength ever
She did it as a U64kg athlete as well, not at her current class of U73kg. She lifted the stones when open weight strongwomen couldn't
An utterly phenomenal achievement. It should be recognised in the same context as the first sub 4 minute mile and first 500kg deadlift.
I completely agree, definitely a lift for the ages. @@V8ToYy
It was Eddie halls diet that hydrated her enough for that
Romark you are incredible! Injured and nearly half the size of most of these amazing athletes, and you still did it. You are truly an inspiration.
Wow. Romark's lift was incredible. The emotional roller coaster you can see he went through was inspirational. Well done Romark!
These series are such a wonderful ensamble of exploration, emotion, strength and love. Thanks Martin!
My pleasure!
It may be my recent fascination with stone lifting and lifelong love of Scotland, but I got emotional during this video. Well done, made my day.
