We have a deeded right to pass and re-pass in his driveway,(Which they are well aware of) I was cleaning leaves from both our properties one day and NFH tore through in his car almost hitting me. When confronted they said what were you doing with a trash can in our driveway. You see they have no clue. Just watch his behavior in these vids and you can see something is not right with them. I’d be investing in some big heavy boulders to put in place of grass. Kinda hard to do anything to a big boulder. If that didn’t work I’d next dig out that spot down 3 feet and install vertical steel I beams. I’ve got a few other ideas, but don’t want be arrested for accessory before or after the fact. Let’s just say my neighbor from hell doesn’t even look my way anymore.😏lol
So, normally I despise entities like an HOA but someone needs to come down on this guy like a ton of bricks, since city governance usually tends to drag its feet with stuff like this. How many years have you guys been dealing with the crazies in this neighboor hood now? I seem to recall that hedge being barely knee-high at some point.

She is so guilt ridden she thought I was taping her and called the police! Waste their valuable other people’s children. I happily gave them my phone warrant or not I have nothing to hide.

Watched many of these videos and enjoyed them, though they brought back horrible memories of my own experiences with a NFH and his supporting cast. Suburban NJ and even though my family has owned the property for decades and I even grew up there until we moved out when I was 12 and just rented it for decades. In the years since I was back as an adult, my NFH had taken up residence across the street and basically acted like he owned the neighborhood and would park all his commercial and non-commercial vehicles always on our side of the street, so his driveway and front of house were always empty. Once I dared to return the favor and park on “his side” all hell broke loose and he would harass me with nonsense police calls about anything he could think of. He got his buddies the neighbors on his side too, so all the videos of the “stooge convention” and supporting cast are all too familiar. People live in a neighborhood for decades and think they own it and can bully “outsiders” or anyone not in the their weird group. Change scares them and they got used to your property one way, but unfortunately instead of adapting, decided to create a hostile environment. Your NFH really takes it to another level though.
I just saw your comment. Yes, what u experienced is very much what we did also. The comment about parking vehicles on your side of the street so they could keep it clear in front of their house is passive harassment. If we ever did to them what they were doing to us.......can't imagine what else they would have done. They were parking their vehicles along our other neighbors yard as well. They claimed because it was actually city owned land(certain portion), they had every right. Well when we showed the police chief and Mayor how they were doing it on our videos, turning around in our front lawn and pulling almost up to our neighbor's window and reving the motor, the city made our side "no parking" lol. They were livid!! So we really could have cramped them had we parked on their side. The NFH himself, lives out on another street and has reserved parking plus the driveway and garage next to us. He parked on our street to harass and so as to not block his water views and to just plain save parking in front of his house. Biggest asshole I've ever seen. They finally settled down. One of them passed away. Stopped taking photos and calling police and city, lol. Hope ur not still having these issues!!
After seeing a video with that neighbor driving in your yard and nicely mowing the street for you, I was surprised the fence wasn’t a nice 8 foot tall privacy fence. Wooden outside on both sides with steel pipe post filled with concrete and steel cross beams.

If you're sitting looking at the water, your back is to it and it's blocked by your grasses. Are a lot of the neighbors the same? Or most okay? I just find this never-ending behavior very puzzling.

And I thought I had a 'unique neighbor. I admire your patience and stamina. I honestly believe your neighbor, and possibly his wife, have serious mental health issues. It could be related to head trauma, mini-strokes, early onset dementia, etc. Or they could just be ornery, hateful a$$hats. Either way it seems their irrational behavior does not lessen. I would be concerned about some small issue (traffic ticket, minor car accident, etc), would trigger a horrific reaction. I know we all hope that does not happen. If I were in your position I would be inclined to make copies of your videos and deliver them to the highest ranking Police officer in your community and another set for whatever city planning committee or code enforcement department is in your area. I would be inclined to include notarized documents itemizing every time law enforcement was involved and every interaction. You would be doing everything in your power to make the authorities aware of your ongoing concerns. From your comments I gather you prefer to 'take the higher road'. That is certainly admirable. When dealing with such unstable people with so many yrs of irrational behavior common sense often mutates into NO sense. (The male almost seems to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia, definitely difficult to treat.) Be safe & careful.

Just had an idea. Is his property in any way situated somewhere a community improvement (walking path, public service, commercial property, etc.) would be well suited? If so you could push for such an improvement and force him to sell the property next to your, or better yet use Eminent Domain to force him out of it. As long as it isn’t his direct residence (we don’t want to make the guy homeless) it would be a two-fold blessing. You get rid of his antics and restore your property value, and the community at large gets an improvement.

Why don't you go to your local Discount Steel store, and purchase an 8' long piece of a 12"x12" I-beam, and _WITH_SPECIAL_CARE_ re property lines and right-of-ways, bury 4-to-6 feet of it in concrete, and the rest straight up as your very own "Bollard" at that corner? (You MUST have had this idea already, so I'm betting there's a city code or right-of-way problem.)

It could be related to head trauma, mini-strokes, early onset dementia, etc. Or they could just be ornery, hateful a$$hats. Either way it seems their irrational behavior does not lessen. I would be concerned about some small issue (traffic ticket, minor car accident, etc), would trigger a horrific reaction. I know we all hope that does not happen. If I were in your position I would be inclined to make copies of your videos and deliver them to the highest ranking Police officer in your community and another set for whatever city planning committee or code enforcement department is in your area. I would be inclined to include notarized documents itemizing every time law enforcement was involved and every interaction. You would be doing everything in your power to make the authorities aware of your ongoing concerns. From your comments I gather you prefer to 'take the higher road'. That is certainly admirable. When dealing with such unstable people with so many yrs of irrational behavior common sense often mutates into NO sense. (The male almost seems to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia, definitely difficult to treat.) Be safe & careful.

Let him keep up with his shenanigans, and read local ordinances. If he takes a step over the line immediately call it in.
Just had an idea. Is his property in any way situated somewhere a community improvement (walking path, public service, commercial property, etc.) would be well suited? If so you could push for such an improvement and force him to sell the property next to your, or better yet use Eminent Domain to force him out of it. As long as it isn’t his direct residence (we don’t want to make the guy homeless) it would be a two-fold blessing. You get rid of his antics and restore your property value, and the community at large gets an improvement.

Why don't you go to your local Discount Steel store, and purchase an 8' long piece of a 12"x12" I-beam, and _WITH_SPECIAL_CARE_ re property lines and right-of-ways, bury 4-to-6 feet of it in concrete, and the rest straight up as your very own "Bollard" at that corner?
