    What did you use to mount that fuel pressure regulator? I like that spot better than on the firewall

    Dude. This is so helpful. I was undecided on the g30-660 and the g30-770. The difference in spool is much more than I expected. It seems like the g25-660 is perfect for a 2.0. I wonder how a g30-660 would be on a 2.2

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  Рік тому +1

      It would most likely spool exactly like the g30-770 but just a bit quicker. The g25 550 and 660 spooled almost identical. Maybe 1-200rpm difference.

      @@KrebsbachRacing that's very nice to know. And I assume you're on stock cams? Given you rev'd to 7500

    Awesome video! What housings did you run on the two G25s?

    What kind of preloads/breakaway are you running on the front and rear plate diffs?

    Hi Shawn,
    Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and importantly real world experience in tuff racing environments.
    Have you considered upgrading to the artec manifold?
    That is what i intend to get.
    Any idea of power levels for g25-660 on pump gas?
    I was set to go g30-770 thinking it was responsive but based off your data the g25-660 is superior only giving up a little in straightline pace.

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  8 місяців тому

      I don't have any testing on the artec, but I believe you can only run that with an MHI turbo.

    Do you think the g30-770 in .83ar would fair better on the 4B11 with dual mivec or is it just generally a hair too big for these small motors?

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  Рік тому

      I'm not very familiar with the 4b11 engine. Depends on your use too. Imo you would want a sequential transmission for this large of a turbo on track.

      @@KrebsbachRacing Thank you for the feedback. My use case would be a daily driver with at least five road courses a year.

    Thanks for the video. I don't usually see these kinds of videos online. Lots of information and very valuable.
    I currently have a FP Green Journal Bearing on an Evo 8 and was thinking of going for a FP Red Ball Bearing. Now knowing how well the G25 660 works, I have my doubts. Could you advise me?
    I know de Garret kit is twice as expensive as Fp Red Ball Bearing turbo. I only use the car for stretches of mountain road and circuits such as Nurburgring.

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  11 місяців тому +1

      Unless it's strictly track use, I would probably go with the FP red. It should handle what you need just fine.

      Do you think it is necessary to change the exhaust manifold for a tubular one? Right now I have the Oem.
      I have doubts about when a tubular exhaust manifold is necessary. Thanks in advance

    • @KrebsbachRacing
      @KrebsbachRacing  11 місяців тому +1

      @ManuEvo8 stock should be just fine. It's the smallest, but should spool the fastest. Idk what it's hp limit it. Probably getting restrictive past 500whp.
