I agree. The piece on the thumbnail picture was intricately carved. This was just turned, with a bit of carving around the top flutes - but this is not the piece I wanted to see.
Your wood craftsmanship is bad ass😉👍🏾👍🏾, but yea I gotta agree with the group on the click bait, title pic wasn’t needed, even if you did put the pic of what you did I would have definitely watched Fam, awesome job👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🙏🏾😌Be Safe;-).
This giant vase doesn't look anything like the picture that lead me to watch this video. Unique as the turning is, I really was hoping to see the carving, not the turning.
It can be disappointing when a video doesn’t match the expectations set by the thumbnail, especially when you’re looking forward to a specific aspect like carving instead of turning. While the turning might be unique, it’s understandable that you wanted to see the carving process. what elements would you include to make it engaging and true to the original concept? How would you ensure viewers have a clear understanding of what to expect?
@kennyc3670 YES! And only gone to be a tall, shallow (useless) vase. Nothing at all like the promotional picture looks like. I was very disappointed on both counts.
Watching the way this guys handle those tools, it is triple amazing, 1, the skill, 2 considering the time it takes to acquire such a skill, the fact they can still count to 10, and 3 how casual they handle such tools (sideways cutting with an angle grinder with a circular saw instead of the already dangerous grinder disk... way outside of my comfort zone).
The picture of the carving is a C&C router. Our company has four of them. The guy using the lathe is talented but comparing the technology between the two is like John Henry vs the steam engine.
What are these vaselike pieces used for? Structural support of something or just ornamental decorations? Im just trying to imagine where this piece would go.
Don't get me wrong, this is interesting. However, this is not the same item on the thumbnail. That one was gorgeous scrollwork, and I really wanted my son to see that one. 😮😢
You don't need to click bait. Your real work is beautiful!
Master craftsmen. Beautiful work, men.
Thanks you very much
I clicked on the video to see the work advertised in the front. This is misleading and people should be charged a fee for false advertising.
Thanks you very much

Because they can unfortunately. 😢
I know...that tree has seen so much...sooo much older than the measly humans that cut her down.

I was thinking the same thing! All the wood chips flying around and he's not wearing safety glasses! 😟
No offence, its not a problem for them its there way of working. @@santay2772
That was my first thought also. But then I couldn't stop envisioning the log coming off the spindle and crushing him.
7:03 How do you handle the preservation and maintenance of wood sculptures, especially those meant to be displayed outdoors?
