This was very nice to see part of the process of how a fragrance gets made between the client and perfumer with samples and testing. I always wanted to see how the process was done from the perfumer receiving a fragrance profile brief from the client and how they go about coming up with variations of what the client is looking for, and then doing this with representatives of the client / business and narrowing down a fragrance profile to go forward with. This is exciting stuff! 😁
That was so fascinating to watch. Not only for a glimpse into the creation process and client/perfumer relationship but also to further realize how professional and tremendously talented Aaron is for his age. Incredible.

Are you guys considering adding some of Aarons Thai Oud to one of the formulations? I think this could go extremely well with the second submission and maybe add an extra layer of complexity :)
Smoulder was my very first niche purchase and still sits very high among my favorites. I am excited to see its evolution. I know whatever he does will be great but I hope it hold onto that smokey Smoulder core that makes it so different to everything else.
I have one hesitation when wanting to purchase Aaron's fragrances - I don't know which are best suited to cold weather or warm weather or office? And they all unisex? Maybe I've missed the memo, so please, feel free to point me in the right direction. I've recently bought the reformulated 'Legend', but again, unsure as to when best to wear it? I was so blown away when I bought the original Legend & Maverick double set when it was an offer, especially as I received 18 samples from the range in the same envelope. Fantastic customer service, so thank you for that, Aaron.

I think we will smell both as from what I saw here I think the first submission is actually Slut Elixir because Chris said it reminded him of Slut and Aaron said it was pretty much finished and Slut Elixir comes out this month. It has no smoke or chocolate in it and smells fantastic as I have a few samples. So imo Smoulder Elixir will be the 2nd submission so we will be able to smell them both. Just one sooner than the other.
Second submission sounds like the way to go if it’s a later in the year completion Chris ,the notes are going to work a treat in the colder months ,I will definitely have a bottle too go with Smoulder but I wouldn’t write off the first one even as a separate release for Aaron’s own brand since it’s totally different and going in a different direction,will it be priced similar too Smoulder maybe a bit earlier for that decision

Just curious how a Dark brown sugar would work instead of more vanilla with the Smoke. I love vanilla in some frags but when I think of Smoulder I think of mysterious mischievous Smokey masculine class.. But it's going to be amazing no matter what with the passion you two have. Congrats SIR

I kind of agree that I am starting to find a bit too much chocolate recently but I mean it’s because I was buying 2 that are being discontinued one after another on top of Hard Candy Elixir which all 3 have chocolate, so I won’t be buying any more chocolate fragrances for a while now. I have to wonder if the first option was what became Slut Elixir which I have smelled and want very much. It is my most anticipated fragrance at this time. I just heard Chris say it reminded him of the OG slut. So my guess is he picked the chocolate one to work with and Aaron worked on the first one and created Slut Elixir.
The marketing and talk about Smoulder was great but the fragrance just as disappointing, i personally labelled it terrble. Just get sauvage elixir if you want never ending compliments and amazing performance. No need to have hundreds, when one can do the job.
I know we all have different tastes but terrible? I love it and get quite a few compliments. Don't get me wrong it's not for everyone but neither is sauvage elixir.I personally can't wait for the next smolder.
