Aaron, I tried to review your fragrances on your website. I couldn't find a spot to place one. Your fragrances are amazing. They last forever, pretty much till you wash them off. That being said. I lost my wife to cancer. I was lost for months after that. I then fo7nd you on this channel. You are so passionate and such a wonderful and genuine person. I know it sounds weird to say but you and your fragrances helped me through the terrible time.
So sorry for your loss. Fragrance has helped me too with personal loss. It is very comforting to share this hobby with others. The fragrance community is about enjoying fragrances together and I hope your journey brings you even more happiness brother. Cheers.
I've gotten Invictus and Polo BLue before but never gave it much thought. Since I got more into it, I've ordered 7 decants. Spicebomb Extreme is by far my favorite one of the bunch!
Keep more Aaron content coming. We love it! Maybe his preferences have changed? How about doing another updated video on your favourite niche fragrances?? Updated versions of the already made videoes. I mean there are SO many fragrance options and different possible videoes to make. Naxos, Alexandria 2, Elysium, Hacivat, Herod, Carlisle, Layton, Grand Soir, Reflection Man, Jubilation Man. And making him smell them blind is really what does it! Keep them coming!
Bleu de Chanel parfum is my signature and I layer pure sandal Wood underneath. It’s amazing. Bit expensive but I’m a sucker for the combo. Also the parfum last the longest on my skin. Love the eau de parfum also
ATH, you've already reviewed Wanted by Night and you really liked it. Surprised you don't remember, given the unique bottle design and quality of the scent.
Aaron has really matured with his reviews and are now must viewed content if your a fragrance enthusiast even tho he doesn't like your favourites all the time. Loved the vid Chris
Aaron is always impressive with his knowledge on fragrance. That being said, even more impressive is acting like he doesn’t know immediately what most of these scents are.
Surprised about Aaron's reaction to DHI, given that it was one of the few 10's for him in his own video reviews. This aspect that he does not like in it was not mentioned in his own video (as far as I can remember, will double check.) I'm guessing this might be because of smelling it on the paper strip and not on skin, as it was the case with Spicebomb.
@@AnwarEissawe Ah didn't know this, makes sense. Consistent with what I remember from other reviewers saying they liked the newer DHI better than the original.
@@raulsaavedra709 The newer batches of DHI are a bit fresher and more versatile, there's a noticeable difference between lets say a 2014 batch and a 2021 batch which Aaron might have. So I don't blame him at all for not recognizing it *Also the bottle looks different from newer batches
more over that was the pre2020 DHI, which has a strong vinegar smell due to the high dose of ambrette seed note/musky accord which makes the pre riformulated a little unbalaced. the new one is all throu iris accord / powdery accord / pear sweet accord and cedar accord in the base, all really balanced
I love it how Aaron describes Eau Sauvage, he nails it with the blending, it's one of the best blended fragrances out there in my opinion. It's my goto for business meetings, it posses certain gravitas, serious stuff.
I dont know how you guys relationship are with Jeremy Fragrance, but I would love to see you two with him in a video. I love the way this guy describe these fragrances. Very powerful.
At 16:45 Aaron says he has never worn it, when in fact he has reviewed it on his channel and one of the only fragrances he gave a 10/10 saying there is nothing he would improve upon it here: ua-cam.com/video/guBACiqOfyU/v-deo.html Similarly for Oud Wood, he gave it a 7/10 in his review here: ua-cam.com/video/RtxoNKfF8q8/v-deo.html Shows just how subjective these reviews and ratings can be.
After watching like every fragrance video and getting bored, I found this gem of a video and the boredom completely lifted. Make mode videos with this guy!!!
Just blind bought Eau Sauvage based solely on UA-camr descriptions, it's the perfect time of year with the coffee months to wear it. I've aged into it and find myself nearly over spraying every time I wear it!
I adore Oud Wood; it is my favourite Tom Ford PB. It is expensive but it’s 10/10 for me, too. I’d like to add that Tom Ford PB is not designer for me - it’s far too expensive. I have the body wash too lol. Also Chanel Bleu is my favourite designer fragrance, too.
Amazing video, I really agree with what you said about freshies. like Bleu de chanel or most of the fresh male designer fragrances, they don't last too long and its like they all smell the same.
I am slightly confused... In June 2021, Aaron reviewed Dior Homme Intense on his own channel, marked it a 10/10, and said he loved it and would not do anything to improve it.... so why now has he given a completely different review on it????
Yeah I also noticed this because he super loved it in his own video. I've also never smelled licorice in DHI but I HAVE smelled it in Sausage Elixir (and hated it)
Hi bro, thx for inviting aron again, hope next vedio about fragrance du Bois fragrances plzzzz😊 with aron, I want to know his impression 🙏, if its possible I will be so happy
I consider the TF Private blend niche perfumery. If you look up the definition of niche, it is most certainly a niche category in the fragrance market.
Bleu De Chanel is strong to me. It smells like Soapy Iris and Rosemary or something. I can't pick out the ingredients like he does, but it kind of burns my nose. If I wear it, I use one spray and not near my face or neck.
I watch Aaron's channel he's bloody good at picking up every single note and araroma chemical in a fragrance, I guess it's a skill a perfumer has but it's difficult for the average guy who loves fragrances like me to comprehend how he can do that, I can pick up some basic stuff like this is fresh and blue style and that is woody and this other has leather and this is darker this is sweet this is musky this is fresh etc but no way can i identify a aroma chemical that makes a fragrance push out or makes a fragrance stable or a fixative that latches onto the skin or how a fragrance will dry down and how it will last etc, its fascinating to see him doing this and its also good in a informative way giving us an idea of what we are going to get before spending our money on a fragrance 👍 top man Aaron and great video
Great video, and of course a smashing list! For whatever reason, I've never smelled Wanted by Night but have always intended to. All the others are loves for me.
Aaron mentioned something about some types of ingredients not lasting very well on his skin. I would love to know more about that, because quite often I find fragrances become skin scents very quickly on mine. I would love to be able to better predict which ones might work for me. Are there any vids or sites you could recommend?
I have wanted by night great fragrance. Sometimes mix it with other citrusy fragrance and works even better. Once with paco rabanne xs. Try blend it with others like eau sauvage etc..
Hi Chris. I really look forward to your videos with Aaron. Your favourite designer fragrances are spot on. I would add Valentino Uomo Intense but it has a lot of similarities to DH Intense. Terre d'Hermes EDT also holds special memories for me. An instant love. I had never smelt anything quite like it. I actually picked up TF Oud Wood last month in the Next VIP sale of all places and at a fantastic price. I got the last 50ml bottle. I don't think that Next realises that TF fragrances are rarely heavily discounted. It'll be a while before I get to properly wear it in Autumn/ Winter but glad to have it in my collection.
the perfume of Chanel version is nothing different after an hour as the edp, it ends again very sharp unfortunately. For a moment it has rich depth and sweetness but doesn't last long just ends up as the etp then you might as well buy edp and it's cheaper too
Eau Sauvage Parfum and Wanted by Night are 2 of my favourite frags in my collection. Of the 2 I'd definitely put Eau Sauvage Parfum as my top pick. Great content as usual Chris. I love watching Aaron give his take on cheaper designer frags. Keep it up fella👍👍👍

He also acted like he never heard of spicebomb extreme here but he reviewed it himself. Can never tell when people are full of it anymore.
Also the one he smelt here was an older batch, he reviewed a recent one
