BDC EDP is the king of designer blue fragrances for me still. I think it's leagues above its competitors (sauvage, Y, etc). I've not tried Eau Forte but I can't imagine I'd love it. Definitely a gimic that they thought when trying desperately to come up with what they can do next with Sauvage. Great take
@adamallison8758 for BDC it's the parfum for me mate. I like the extra little bit of smokiness. I don't think I have a favourite designer blue although loewe 7 cobalt is amazing .
Cheers for the video - tried this in Boots and felt it was entirely redundant but obviously the “water based” approach the only USP.. not bad, but defo not worth picking up when so many decent budget blue frags out there - and Sauvage EDT still a good daily wear for most 👍
@OwenLavers-rr4sg I honestly felt like this misses every mark it set out to achieve. Its as if its a parody fragrance, or Francis Kurkdjian wanted to ruin the sauvage legacy before his own line is released. Awful release
No doubt they will get some decent sales from it just because it has the Sauvage name on it but for me it's a big disappointment and nowhere near as good both in scent profile and performance of the rest of this line. I don't wear any Sauvage anymore but I appreciate what it is and its status as legendary in the world of perfumery. I just can't get my head around the milky juice, it's just weird lol.
