Hi again Leonard! Your advice over the last couple of episodes has been SO useful! I'd even go as far as saying that you've made me fall in love with CS2 so thank you so much! I pretty much did everything you did up to episode 2 and then made my own way with the city. For example I made mail and internet a priority just as soon as I could. I have the UK mod pack installed which has definitely given my city some differences in how it looks, but also think that that was a bit of a hindrance in how the simulation recognised some of my buildings being placed.
Anyway, I love this game now! I even found myself playing the music in my car to and from work and feeling so uplifted by it. (The Vibe station)
How would I go about sharing with you my city? I know we don't have multiplayer elements in this one but I want to share with u my progress which has only been achieved by following you! Once again, all the best from England!

BTW, I placed post boxes and a comms tower when I was only still at about 1k population. I never once got the 'small homes' complaint removed though. I cant wait for High Density to be unlocked to see what that does. I kept my offices taxes at 10 percent and raised all the others gradually over time just like u taught me in SC2013. You can probably raise non-educated taxes to about 18 and the rest to the max of about 13 percent but I found raising those unethical so tried to keep a good balance. Raising commercial to 20 though gradually worked well for me and became my highest source of income over a few years. I also raised the service fees for electric and water to the maximum point to when people would not become unhappy and sold most of my electric by installing 3 wind turbines. Pretty much apart from that, I followed you directly.

By keeping my office tax really low (again compared to the others industries) I got an abundance of younger people moving in and found that I had most of them working in media just like it is here in some parts of the UK, especially the North. I did something similar in Transport Fever 2 as well and it worked a charm. I never had a demand for dirty industry (yellow) once I did that - all purple for offices all the way. I loved following policies like that to see if it reflected real life and it mostly did. Basically with ur guidance, I have grown to just absolutely love this game so thank you once again my friend!

Regarding education and healthcare - I found those two elements the hardest to get people happy with. I only ever placed a primary (elementary) and a Secondary (High School) and I always got the 'this cities eduction is amazing' comments. Fluke? Maybe. The healthcare unhappiness points were maybe because I set the budget as low as 70% at first (as well the other services like Police and Fire) and gradually increased it as and when I had the funds to do so. I only ever placed one large medical centre and two small ones. Like you advised I never made a cemetery and only a crematorium. I upgraded it to have more refrigeration though very early on in the game. Again, I love this game now and can't wait to start a new one on my own. Thank you Leonard, you're the best matey!

      Greetings to you in England!
Thank you for the excellent feedback and update.
I'm so glad you are enjoying the game.
I think it's awesome that you followed my city up to a point and then went on your own. Yes! Excellent!
I'll investigate ways of sharing a city.

To gain some money and make a city profitable at initial stages in CS2 (with Economy 2.0 patch) was a big trouble for me. Almost unresolvable. I even wasn't playing CS2 because of this. Your guide teached me how it can be solved. Back to CS2 again! Thank you.

    Is City Skylines more difficult

      Not really. Just more complex.

@@leonarddavis8732 Better! If your computer can handle it, it's much better than SC2013! I've been playing via GE Force Now on my mid 2011 27 inch iMac!
