Big up Unique FM, Bridge complex, G-block, Clark Court, red deck, Craven Park, Minet Avenue, roundwood estate, church end, so many memories growing up, so many legends. Big up my endz❤
I miss the old NW when it was 1 you could go anywhere youth club in church road on Taylor’s lane where everyone used to mix, in the 80s we had great sound systems volcano java vigilante echo tone some good all dayers in Stonebridge and round wood park used to check my people In Haskell house. There still some of them legends around
I'm a 80s baby from Craven Park. So many legends I remember growing up.
Getting mugged, turned out, ironed out on the Bakerloo line; I have very fond, childhood memories of Stonebridge....
When a man said he want his blocks back up, I hear you! I felt that! They tore down mine as well, but if they were still up, it would be a lot different, it was for the best trust me, because if they were still up, I don’t think we would want to be in them like that. 🙏🏾👊🏾
He probably misses his childhood and the blocks was a big part of that.
This is a terrible mentality. Why would you want a a wretched block to be back. When the main purpose was a violation in the first place. Mental. Mind games. This is why us blacks are at the bottom of the food chain A man said the estate can’t even be unified instead it’s split That’s a joke Deep it
It's crazy you both saying that..im a Brummy and grew up in the 1980s and my sister lived on the Castle Vale Estate that had about 30 blocks back then and I have fond memories of playing in and around them..then another family member moved to the Lyndhurst Estate and once again the tower blocks were a central part of the whole estate and as I got older I lived in various places with Tower blocks like the Bromford Estate etc but today very very few of these blocks still exist or stand and I know why..the cramped conditions and crime and drug using and dealing in the blocks and they were poorly built etc so I understand why they came down and even though deep down I know its for the best..often times when I'm passing by various old estates and I look and see all the new modern style homes that replaced the blocks etc I still get a feeling of nostalgia and feel like in some ways it used to be better as it was..I don't know I guess its just me getting old and melancholia 😂
I live just outside Glasgow in a town called Greenock, used to be like 40 High rise tower blocks in this town but there are a lot less bow since they started knocking them down & replacing them with little soul-less lego land scheme's... I miss the way it used to be.
I understand where he is coming from, I miss my blocks as well. 👊🏾

@@omarquelch8924 yeah G passed a good 10- 15yrs ago, i cant remember exactly. I heard it was from a cardiac arrest. I didn't kjow his sister, just met her once baaaack in the day. I used to go Brent Tutorial Centre with him. He was riding his moped in to 'school' when we were 14/15 💪🏿😂. He was independent from early because his mum passed. G was moving like a man from early early, and he was a nice brother too. He would use his strength to protect more than to attack 🙏🏿🖤

Stonebridge Park was one area that I was wary about visiting back in the day, even compared to Church Road in Harlesden.
Sad thing is this has happened around the whole of London. There’s no character anymore in London it’s all plastic building. I’m from Kennington in south London & they have ruined it. Gentrified it knocked down all the main bits. The people you see in Kennington will never of walked through there 90s & early 2000s it was rough looked gritty. It’s sad when you think deep about it
I'm from a Kings Cross estate that went to Secondary School in Kilburn with Stonebridge, Harlesden, Grove, Willsden and Wembley Boys. This was back in 1988 to 1992.
Stonebridge was KickOff Boys!
Stonebridge estate was Really Bad.
Those times were raw af
Bro, King’s Cross, as a whole, in the 70s/80s/90s/early 2k, was a complete right off. King’s Cross was a serious ghetto filled with everything.

Great content I enjoy your stuff I’m a new subscriber keep
It up 👊👊🙏
Respect bro👊🏾👊🏾 glad to have you on board
I lived in Harlesden and worked in the youth club in stone Bridge in early 1980's ....sadly many young men ended up in Feltham YOI that I saw while working there years later.
This is so good
Thank you !
Really loved this episode keep up the content 💯

Remember when all the blocks were there in the 80s Lived in Clark Court. This one brought back memories big up 🙏🏿
Glad we brought back some good memories .respect
@@TeaAndCrumpets Mad even my mother said where she grew up in Bradford she lived in a nice home in a nice place for the time but she said she liked hanging out in the estates because off the family community feel and it was a fun for the most part thats something people don't realise about estates maybe not so much these days but I used be even in 90s..would off been late 70s early 80s when me mum going too estates in Bradford..👍👊✌
Big up boss belly 💪🏼
I lived in Stonebridge park back in the 90s a state block called clark Court was way rough them day's no lie but not how it is now day's. i even went to a local primary school called brentfiled school them day's jeez bring back memories and am 40 now. man how time files.
I went to Brentfield too, legendary school with kids from Harlesden, Stonebridge and St Raphs.
Real talk 👊🏻
Big up Punch👊🏽
Intro riddem mad ting.💯🫡💥💥
🔥🔥🔥 Big tune
2:57 the block was called jefferies and vg was behind it (Clark court)
Me and my sister almost got a flat on that estate back in the late 80s. Lucky for us the flat was a dump so we didn't take it.
Tuff 🔥🔥🔥 legoo
Good ep my brudda💯
Thank you!
When the brother says these youths now have no respect and discipline we all agree with him and then says they are hanging around with people who don't even like them 🤯 that couldn't be more real. I remember no matter what the people around us that used to chill and hangout with always had each other's back no matter the situation. The humiliation of running away and leaving someone behind meant you were better off moving out the endz coz from that minute you got no respect like your seen as 😾 and taken as a disrespect if you try come around the mandem. Point is people used to be able to trust each other and hanged out with people they respected and if one was in the way up his people promoted him coz we all were up.
Can you go ec1 kings square estate it’s gritty but it’s central London and apparently they’re a problem across Islington Hackney and Camden it would be interesting
Broski 💯💯💯💯💯
Stonebridge was too real back in the day
It was crazy, like real crazy. Just going to the shop on the front was a mission
From outside London and got lost on that estate once lol, felt someone was about to turn the corner into me each minute I was there lol
Just drove through it today. Lovely now compared to 80s & 90s. Be thankful that the council tore down the old blocks.
28:52 nice park though, got a little wall 😂
Chalk hill estate in wembley park was pretty bad aswell, and South Kilburn estate. The architecture in Hills, South Kilburn, Stonebridge all similar.
Fitzimmons court was the fun block, party block, maaaaad block 🖤💯 home 🏠
This is probably the last generation of brothers who had a father in their lives at least more often than the youths now so they were taught from a man about respect they were disciplined by a man so they were humbled and learned their actions and words had consequences. This new generation of single mothers trying to raise men are failing miserably

Good to see punch living his best life, was in Manchester strange ways jail with him and his co D fuel
Big up punch, fuel and Gav
I remember hearing about this estate back Inn the 90s from man called Ishmahil Blagrove who was a known name in Stonebridge estate. I'm pretty sure he filmed the documentary Bang Bang in da manor around this estate.
I grew up in Church Rd. I knew man dem on both sides of bridge but I ain't never heard of Punch !!! (NO DISRESPECT)
Man’s block was Hiscocks house bridge. Still hold NW10 postcode never heard of him either. Knew Naf, Jammie, Gav, bora, shorty all them man. MG, Ruffus.
@MajorlondonNW10 I remember your name still. I can even go as far bk as man like Pharmacist and his likkle bro. They came straight from yard (Jamaica) to Bridge.

All areas change and change again and again. Imagine what stonebridge must have been like in the 1800s and early 1900s . Areas only get bad because the government councils police and army allow it .Note it was a very interesting video. I use to hang around stonebridge flats in the mid 1970s.
Jeffries House 1986 then Fitzsimmons Court 86-95, great times , when your young you dont reaise the madness that was around you, man that died lifed off grew up as one. in and out of each other houses. Rasta Muslim, Isralite, christian lived as one

Stonebridge and chalkhill hill estates back in the day you didnt mess about when you went there.
Harlesden has changed
Very disappointing that you did not link up the man dem when we touched up in your ends…
Rah he said man couldn't go Rayners lane ? What year was that there was always black bruddas on the estate
I think the race thing was in Watford, rayners was just a beef thing
Harrow and watford. Hatch end too. Harrow weald. Racist ends. Bushey carpenders park full on national front from them side to hertfordshire and bedfordshire northamptonshire @@amtownsyou rayners lane was just a bunch of random harrow and west london balck people on the estate havind dances in the community centre and gangs came from it south harrow
My dads from Harrow ,I worked in Stonebridge as a chippy prob 20yr ago ,absolute shithole concrete everywhere some flats had like 10 satellite dishes for some reason , met a few local labors on site they were sound as ,my mate done a pj for one of them fitted some doors was paid in weed 😂 remember one day we couldn't get on site coz the road was shut off coz of a shooting ,we was building a new estate whilst knocking down those old blocks, at 2:45 is how i remember it looked
9 Gardener Court, if you know, you know
Stonebridge wasnt the first place crack was sold smh
45 clark court back in da day
Nah, man. How can that brother be asking for the blocks back? Sad. I'm from Church Rd - my block was nowhere as bad (Looks, condition) as Bridge, and our aim was to get out! Those blocks will block your horizons. Gotta have bigger ambitions than this Punch. Fuck the hood, the bad will always out weigh the good there.
I grew up in a shithole area but I still had a good childhood/adolescent. You can have good and bad experiences.
