I guess if you believe what Olaf says in frozen about water having memories of it's so called "journey", then this would make sense, since Sunset can see peoples' memories, therefore leading to her being able to see the water's memory of going through the water cycle... glad that piece of snow didn't pass through any animals 😅 that probably would not have looked nice haha
Yeah we can see this in the amusement park special where rarity has the to create something she can use to attack instead of creating a shield. But different because of Rarity getting the power strength (friendship magic) from her other friends.

"How could they possibly be fooled by this?!" Well Sunset's art does look realistic enough to the outside of the school, so they could be fooled by that, but idk how the snowman made of food and not snow didn't throw them off.
I love this; not all the stories are winners in my book, but I feel like each one is a winner for _someone_ . And that little meta goodbye at the end tugged my heart.
These are my favorite series of shorts, It was funny to see them do this snow prank (with only a background painting, little snow and a potato man) to avoid the test, but no way, I thought it would work I don't know what the directors' faces would have been like when they came out and saw that there was no real snow and they already canceled the test.
I liked that they did a parallel to Sparkle's Seven. I don't know if the actresses had a voice in the writing again, but still fun. As for Dashing Through The Mall, I wonder about input there too, since those two are actually friends in real life and that was the request for Sparkle's Seven.

This is one of my favorite specials of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls as well as one of my most favorite holiday specials too! I even saw this on TV just the other day actually on Discovery Family for Christmas in July since some TV stations and channels are playing Christmas-themed movies and shows in July for Christmas in July which is really nice.

When the Equetstria Girls series first started I was one of the few who actually liked it right away, but I still felt it was nowhere near as good as MLP G4, but as the series advanced and grew and we got great specials like Forgotten Friendship and Spring Breakdown, as well as many great character moments and songs, I grew to think of it as an equal to MLP G4. Thus, I am sad to see both MLP and Equestria Girls both end. But, while this may not have concluded everything, I still enjoyed these last 6 shorts they were fun and enjoyable, and your reactions to them was just as enjoyable(I'm definitely recording a few of them on my camera so I can have and enjoy them forever). Thank you, Applegeek, for all these great reactions to both series. :)
@Christian Galvan Yeah and hopefully it will be good news, but even if it's not, we still got that EQG comic coming soon, which will hopefully give a proper conclusion to the series, maybe graduation and having Princess Twilight or others visit for it. I can sort of see Dash's not checking her texts given her song run to break free. She's not just an incredibly sporty teenage girl but one with the super speed super power so she's probably bouncing off the walls on the inside every minute she's holding back to normal persons speed. To her the short time for a message to come through would feel like an eternity so she does something else and forgets about it.

I’d gotten bored of rewatching mlp so many times, but it was like you came along, and breathed new life into them. You inspired me so much that I am actually dedicating my first ever UA-cam comment to you. I know you have better things to do, but if you ever read this, please hear my request. I understand that you are completely part of the mlp fan base, including your name, but it would mean so much to me if you’d consider reacting to something entirely new. Then immediately falls asleep again. Also, Applegeek's reaction. 7:02-7:07 Sunset's face. 7:02-7:26 That's very beautiful; showing a snowflake's life journey. But I'm calling B.S. If Sunset Shimmer can see the memories of non-living things, she would see flashbacks non-stop. Also, Applegeek is confused. 7:25-7:32 Rarity finally finishes her task: knitting a scarf for the "potato-man". Also, her chair is stylised with gems, cushions and ribbons. 7:31-7:33 Sunset has done an expert job painting the snow picture. 7:34-7:37 Hardly, Rainbow Dash. 7:38-7:43 That's a seriously good point, Applegeek. Also, how did they have the energy to do it when they were all shattered when they woke up? 7:41-8:26 The Rainboom's crazy plan almost works. Unfortunately, Mr. Doodle blows it and they end up getting detention. 7:48-8:00 Applegeek compares the "blizzard" the girls have created to the ones he gets in Minnesnowta. 8:04-8:07 Who's knows, Applegeek? Also, Rainbow's face. 8:14/8:22 Celestia's face. 8:26-9:04 At least there was some good that came out of their scheme. The girls know all they need to about the water cycle for their test. Rainbow Dash claims it was "all part of the plan." 8:35-8:38 Two hours?! Before they said half an hour. I plan to one day drive to Pawtucket, Rhode Island, go to Hasbro Headquarters, to talk to Brian Goldner, and try to convince him that MLP EG deserves a satisfying finale! And maybe even ask him to fix the mlp eg CYOE shorts on the mlp eg official channel on UA-cam? (Maybe hasbro can call the FTC (COPPA) to explain why the CYOE shorts need on screen video links?)
Other commenters have mentioned it too, but there is an idea out there about water having memory. It's always interesting to see New Age stuff showing up in the show, but it does seem pretty far fetched to me. Nice that they put it in, but it's such a fringe idea that most people probably would react like you did. I wasn't clear on it either until I heard about the theory later.

About the moment with Sunset seeing the snowflake's memories, is it far-fetched to assume it suggests the girls' powers slowly growing stronger over time?
I guess if you believe what Olaf says in frozen about water having memories of it's so called "journey", then this would make sense, since Sunset can see peoples' memories, therefore leading to her being able to see the water's memory of going through the water cycle... glad that piece of snow didn't pass through any animals 😅 that probably would not have looked nice haha
Yeah we can see this in the amusement park special where rarity has the to create something she can use to attack instead of creating a shield. But different because of Rarity getting the power strength (friendship magic) from her other friends.

This is one of my favorite specials of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls as well as one of my most favorite holiday specials too! When the Equetstria Girls series first started I was one of the few who actually liked it right away, but I still felt it was nowhere near as good as MLP G4, but as the series advanced and grew and we got great specials like Forgotten Friendship and Spring Breakdown, as well as many great character moments and songs, I grew to think of it as an equal to MLP G4. Thus, I am sad to see both MLP and Equestria Girls both end. But, while this may not have concluded everything, I still enjoyed these last 6 shorts they were fun and enjoyable, and your reactions to them was just as enjoyable(I'm definitely recording a few of them on my camera so I can have and enjoy them forever). Thank you, Applegeek, for all these great reactions to both series. :)

I can sort of see Dash's not checking her texts given her song run to break free. She's not just an incredibly sporty teenage girl but one with the super speed super power so she's probably bouncing off the walls on the inside every minute she's holding back to normal persons speed. To her the short time for a message to come through would feel like an eternity so she does something else and forgets about it.

Dear apple geek, I just wanted you to know that I loved your videos more than anything else on UA-cam. I’d gotten bored of rewatching mlp so many times, but it was like you came along, and breathed new life into them. You inspired me so much that I am actually dedicating my first ever UA-cam comment to you. I know you have better things to do, but if you ever read this, please hear my request. I understand that you are completely part of the mlp fan base, including your name, but it would mean so much to me if you’d consider reacting to something entirely new. Suggestions, Netflix original series such as “the hollow” and/or “troll hunters”. They’re nothing like mlp, but if you’d give them the analytical insights that made mlp so much more enjoyable, I’d be more happy than I’ve been in a long time. You’re my favorite UA-camr man, and my family just doesn’t get how awesome this show and you really are. They always tease me for liking “little girls shows” which is totally wrong as I’m sure you understand. Regardless, I’m writing this comment as a last hope of getting more videos from the most awesome person I know. Thanks, for everything.

1:55-2:13 It looks like the girls had a late night; they fell asleep in their clothes, and just look at the bags under their eyes!

2:19-2:41 The Rainbooms tried to pull an all-night study session, but fell asleep halfway through.

5:18-5:30 Fluttershy directs some ducks away from Applejack, who's carrying large hunks of ice. Also, those are cute bunny ears she's wearing.
5:29-5:39 Rainbow Dash gets Twilight to stop studying and help out. Also, those faces. Also who knows, Applegeek? - usually you need to order ice that big.
5:39-5:47 Rarity is busy knitting - she shoos Rainbow Dash away. Also, Applegeek's reaction.
5:47-5:51 Pinkie is still trying to protect the potatoes. Also, her face.
5:52-6:01 Pinkie uses her explosion powers to turn the potatoes into mash. Then she and the raccoon fight over for the last one.
6:01-6:05 Sunset carries on painting. Also, Applegeek doesn't even know what the potatoes are for.
6:05-6:14 Fluttershy gets some woodpeckers to make ice sculptures. Also, her face.
6:14-6:35 Pinkie and the raccoon are still fighting. Fluttershy isn't impressed and gets them to work things out. They then make a "potato-man" together and share the cookie buttons. Also, Applegeek's reactions.

6:35-6:58 Rainbow Dash sets Twilight to work shovelling snow - made from the remains of the ice sculptures. Twilight isn't good at it so she's uses her telekinesis powers. Also, those faces. Also, Applegeek's reaction.

6:56-6:59 I agree what they're doing isn't becoming of role models. But nobody's perfect.

The winter is my favorite moment. I have a girlfriend and we are doing beautiful things together in winter.
I plan to one day drive to Pawtucket, Rhode Island, go to Hasbro Headquarters, to talk to Brian Goldner, and try to convince him that MLP EG deserves a satisfying finale!
And maybe even ask him to fix the mlp eg CYOE shorts on the mlp eg official channel on UA-cam?
(Maybe hasbro can call the FTC (COPPA) to explain why the CYOE shorts need on screen video links?)
Other commenters have mentioned it too, but there is an idea out there about water having memory. It's always interesting to see New Age stuff showing up in the show, but it does seem pretty far fetched to me. Nice that they put it in, but it's such a fringe idea that most people probably would react like you did. I wasn't clear on it either until I heard about the theory later.
