@@severinvogt2875 I always thought Movie Magic took place sometime during the movie. I thought of this when Starlight said all of Twilight's friends were called for a friendship quest. It wasn't. They left to find the Hippogriffs while Starlight took refuge in Twilight's Castle. Twilight said for Starlight to stay with Sunset for a few more days to protect her from Storm Guards in case they found her and tried torturing her so when she comes back, they'll all be together.
And Dance magic, Movie magic and Mirror magic takes place before season 7, since Starlight is still student there. By the way, I wish they could make a movie that happened after season 9 and 10 (becasue season 10 in comics explains something between the coronation and teh last problem) Ponylife happens before season 9 or in season 9, because Celestia is teh ruler. Then season 9 happens, and Rainbow roadtrip still happens before the coronation, because Twilight lives in ponyville there. Then Friendship is forever episode memories and more ends right after Celestia and Luna said goodbye in last part of flashback, after the council of friendship is created. Then I guess season 10 is after she was crowned, but before they became old. WHat if they made a end movie that includes all the equestria characters and the Canterlot high and human world characters. Maybe around the 2 planets. It happened after all of the other movies and series but still before Luster dawn was student. While Granny and Goldie was alive.

Twilight is basically middle class nobility in Equestria. She might be part of a fairly rich family in the human world. That could explain how she was able to score the trip for the CHS students.

Can we not argue about this? After all, it's Pinkie Pie. Don't question it. But getting back to that "they switched" thing, 1) that was a bloopers thing and 2) they could've been switching back and forth the whole time, since the first EG movie, without anyone even knowing. Did you ever notice in the background at one point that EG Pinkie stuck her head through the portal and came back out looking cross-eyed? If the 2 Pinkies saw each other, that could've triggered the switching, thus how she always knows what's going on in the other world. But like I said before, it's Pinkie.... don't question it.
“Spring Breakdown” is a better EG special than the last, in my opinion. This one does have its flaws in the first half, but the rest of the story afterwards makes up for it.
My headcanons: . The Parrot was an _equestian sapient animal_ that was being chased by that "predator" _mindless plant_ monster until it got trapped on that cave at the ~southwest~ of the Everfree Forest (based on the relative size and position of Canterlot on the horizon). Trying to "push" what looked like a stone door to escape, crossing over to the EQG world. . A similar plant monster also crossed over through the "Rifts" on Friendship Games. The most probable reason it was not "transformed" into a "normal" creature like ponies & dragons is that it is a PLANT (not an animal), so whatever "script" normally handles the _DNA filters_ just "can not compute" it. -> Alternatively, it is the "lack of sapience" what allows it to passthrough (like the crown with the element of magic, that crossed over by itself without an "owner" to base its shape/adaptation like clothes/bags ). This would explain why both the jackalope & Spike The (normal) Dog were not affected either [the latter WILL be transformed now because he was "uplifted" with magic]. . This "stone gate portal" in the Everfree seems works with the same "rules" than the Mirror or Starswirl´s portal spell; likely predating both (but this is NOT the "way" that the nameless eart pony sorceress & Clover The Clever used in the past, since he left the Memory Stone very close to C.H.S. ). . The "island side" of the portal was originally a "standing rock" (henge) oriented just like the other of the portal side in the cave. The plant monster followed "The Parrot" and pushed it back as soon as it crossed completely (this is why it is now "facing upwards" ), eventually getting covered on sand and rainwater [that could not "passthrough" by mere gravity because of the same "soft barrier" that prevented Sci!Twi to do it with her hands when she was "studying" the CHS portal in the coldstart of Friendship Games]. -> This is also one of the reasons why The Parrot can not return to Equestria (assuming he knows what happened to him and where the portal is and how it works), as it would be too dangerous for a small creature like he is now to try to "dig" into the quicksand [plus the plant_monster acting like a "guardian" around it].

It became a "parrot" when it crossed a portal made of stone (located inside a cave, in the middle of a forest, somewhere south of Ponyville). . The "parrot" was followed by the plant monster (from Equestria, to the human world). Because it is not "an animal", or "can not think", or "there is no equivalent"; the portal did not transformed it like the "parrot" [so it is still a plant monster in the human world]. . The plant monster hit the portal stone (on the side of the human world), so the "gate" side of the portal now is facinh "up" (looking to the sky). -> It was later covered by sand and water (making quicksand). . This now "hidden" portal under the quicksand is also "protected" by the plant monster (as part of its new territory). . The "parrot" is now a tiny creature; too weak to dig through the quicksand and reach the portal (also the plant monster will probably eat it), so it can not go back to Equestria [also, it may not know that the portal is under the quicksand].
15:32 That scene where Flash just entered complete anime fanboy mode when Sunset winked at him is honestly so adorable! It's clear (at least to me) that they still like each other. I have a feeling they're gonna get back together at some point. I know that in Rainbow Rocks, Sunset said that she didn't actually have feelings for Flash, but I don't think that's true. We can see in Legend of Everfree that Sunset does appear to like Flash, at least now she does. So I still say there's a chance that they will get back together. I sure hope so!
yes Yes, Flash too seriously looks like he still loves her and she likes him too and I'm very happy I have the same opinion as you too I think that what Sunset said on rainbow rocks was not entirely true I know she was mean and angry but maybe with Flash she was different when they were alone, besides I wanted to murder Flash at the beginning, that at Sunset he mentioned Twilight I know that he liked her but without exaggerating with his ex-girlfriend such things are not asked or spoken when Rarity said that she was being killed in Twilight up to her ears. 'Sunset looked almost heartbroken and sad that means something. knowing Flash, he loved Sunset since he was with her, he is really good, helpful, kind and when he said in the everfree legend that he knew when something bites Sunset, he made my heart warm, which means he had to be very close to Sunset and he saw her good and bad at times he was the only one who had a bond with Sunset but it also hurt him which caused Flash to break up with her you could say she really liked him.

I am disappointed that the show runners never fully explored this concept. I mean imagine a movie where both the Mane 6 and the Human 7 had to resolve a conflict that endangered both worlds, like what Midnight Sparkle did in Friendship games being a good example. But alas we never got it and on an additional note, I am sad that Sunset never got any screentime in the main show save for a like 3 second cameo in the finale. I mean it was Twilight's coronation, you'd think that Sunset would have come along for at least that and maybe even joined the effort in the battle with the Mean 3. It just bothers me so much that even though the EQG specials has some crossover moments, the main show wanted to pretend like she never existed outside of that ONE reference at the end.
This is one of my most favorite specials of the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls series and I sometimes see this on TV too on the Discovery Family Channel. I also really like watching this a lot during the spring and summer months of the year, just like with the movie Legend of Everfree, especially since Spring Breakdown also has a spring and a summer vibe to it as well considering the fact that it seems summer-themed even though it actually takes place during spring break.

Overall, this might be the best Equestria Girls special to date. The first half was a bit slow and there were quite a few missed opportunities, but there's no doubt the best part was human Rainbow Dash and Sci-Twi visiting Equestria. For the longest time, we've wondered what would happen if humans entered the pony world. Now we know. They become ponies just like their counterparts. It would've been cool to see them spend more time there - especially at the end when everyone else joined them - but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen again. Hasbro have already announced a third season of Equestria Girls shorts, so perhaps the brand will live on even when Friendship is Magic comes to an end. Finally, just as a side note, it was absolutely amazing seeing the movie referenced here. Who would've thought that it would tie-in with the rest of the franchise so deeply? I certainly wasn't expecting it. Anyway, we've still got a long way to go before the Season 9 finale. Let's see what else Hasbro (and Applegeek) has in store.

Pony Applejack has four legs rather then 2 and a completely different center of balance than a human does as well as a differently shaped eardrum since it's the eardrum that assists in balancing oneself. So pony Applejack not getting seasick like her human counterpart makes sense because her body is vastly different to that of a human body and even a human's sense of balance.

- The first film takes place between seasons 3 and 4.

- Friendship games, between seasons 5 and 6.
- Legend of everfree, between seasons 6 and 7.
- Forgotten friendship, between season 7 and the movie (since the throne room of Canterlot did not change).
- And Spring Breakdown, between the movie and season 8.

@@severinvogt2875 I always thought Movie Magic took place sometime during the movie. I thought of this when Starlight said all of Twilight's friends were called for a friendship quest. It wasn't. They left to find the Hippogriffs while Starlight took refuge in Twilight's Castle. Twilight said for Starlight to stay with Sunset for a few more days to protect her from Storm Guards in case they found her and tried torturing her so when she comes back, they'll all be together.
And Dance magic, Movie magic and Mirror magic takes place before season 7, since Starlight is still student there.
By the way, I wish they could make a movie that happened after season 9 and 10 (becasue season 10 in comics explains something between the coronation and teh last problem)
Ponylife happens before season 9 or in season 9, because Celestia is teh ruler. Then season 9 happens, and Rainbow roadtrip still happens before the coronation, because Twilight lives in ponyville there. Then Friendship is forever episode memories and more ends right after Celestia and Luna said goodbye in last part of flashback, after the council of friendship is created. Then I guess season 10 is after she was crowned, but before they became old.
WHat if they made a end movie that includes all the equestria characters and the Canterlot high and human world characters. Maybe around the 2 planets. It happened after all of the other movies and series but still before Luster dawn was student. While Granny and Goldie was alive.

Remember in Spice Up Your Life when pinkie said “twilight and twilight in twilights castle!”, I guess that was foreshadowing for this episode.
The cutiemap can only detect CURRENT "Friendship Problems" [or in the case of its "rebooting", showing PAST "Friendship Problems" that resolved themselves].
The "Twiligh & Twilight" one was NOT happening on the "Castle of Friendship" itself; but rather on a _place_ that is ""located"" _inside_ of it [kinda].
If you had to "send a letter" to "The -Principal- _Headmistress_ of Canterlot Highschool, Celestia" FROM Equestria; the "postal code" needed would be the same as wherever "The Mirror" is currently placed [even considering other portals like the one on the Everfree Forest going to the "quicksand_deep_sea_island"], since the closest point "IN Equestria" is the one "conected" to the base of the horse statue "on Pedestria" (right next to the highschool itself).
-> The "Friendship Problem" was between Midnight Sparkle & Sci!Twi [ it does not involved Princess Twilight at all]. It got "solved" (in a terrible, horrible way) in EQG4: "Legend of Everfree".

But getting back to that "they switched" thing, 1) that was a bloopers thing and 2) they could've been switching back and forth the whole time, since the first EG movie, without anyone even knowing.
Did you ever notice in the background at one point that EG Pinkie stuck her head through the portal and came back out looking cross-eyed?
If the 2 Pinkies saw each other, that could've triggered the switching, thus how she always knows what's going on in the other world.
But like I said before, it's Pinkie.... don't question it.

“Spring Breakdown” is a better EG special than the last, in my opinion. This one does have its flaws in the first half, but the rest of the story afterwards makes up for it.
They didn't need to call this "Spring Breakdown", they should've called it "Ships On A Ship"

My headcanons:
. The Parrot was an _equestian sapient animal_ that was being chased by that "predator" _mindless plant_ monster until it got trapped on that cave at the ~southwest~ of the Everfree Forest (based on the relative size and position of Canterlot on the horizon).
Trying to "push" what looked like a stone door to escape, crossing over to the EQG world.
. A similar plant monster also crossed over through the "Rifts" on Friendship Games. The most probable reason it was not "transformed" into a "normal" creature like ponies & dragons is that it is a PLANT (not an animal), so whatever "script" normally handles the _DNA filters_ just "can not compute" it.
-> Alternatively, it is the "lack of sapience" what allows it to passthrough (like the crown with the element of magic, that crossed over by itself without an "owner" to base its shape/adaptation like clothes/bags ). This would explain why both the jackalope & Spike The (normal) Dog were not affected either [the latter WILL be transformed now because he was "uplifted" with magic].
. This "stone gate portal" in the Everfree seems works with the same "rules" than the Mirror or Starswirl´s portal spell; likely predating both (but this is NOT the "way" that the nameless eart pony sorceress & Clover The Clever used in the past, since he left the Memory Stone very close to C.H.S. ).
. The "island side" of the portal was originally a "standing rock" (henge) oriented just like the other of the portal side in the cave. The plant monster followed "The Parrot" and pushed it back as soon as it crossed completely (this is why it is now "facing upwards" ), eventually getting covered on sand and rainwater [that could not "passthrough" by mere gravity because of the same "soft barrier" that prevented Sci!Twi to do it with her hands when she was "studying" the CHS portal in the coldstart of Friendship Games].
-> This is also one of the reasons why The Parrot can not return to Equestria (assuming he knows what happened to him and where the portal is and how it works), as it would be too dangerous for a small creature like he is now to try to "dig" into the quicksand [plus the plant_monster acting like a "guardian" around it].

. It became a "parrot" when it crossed a portal made of stone (located inside a cave, in the middle of a forest, somewhere south of Ponyville).
. The "parrot" was followed by the plant monster (from Equestria, to the human world). Because it is not "an animal", or "can not think", or "there is no equivalent"; the portal did not transformed it like the "parrot" [so it is still a plant monster in the human world].
. The plant monster hit the portal stone (on the side of the human world), so the "gate" side of the portal now is facinh "up" (looking to the sky).
-> It was later covered by sand and water (making quicksand).
. This now "hidden" portal under the quicksand is also "protected" by the plant monster (as part of its new territory).
. The "parrot" is now a tiny creature; too weak to dig through the quicksand and reach the portal (also the plant monster will probably eat it), so it can not go back to Equestria [also, it may not know that the portal is under the quicksand].

I know that in Rainbow Rocks, Sunset said that she didn't actually have feelings for Flash, but I don't think that's true. We can see in Legend of Everfree that Sunset does appear to like Flash, at least now she does. So I still say there's a chance that they will get back together. I sure hope so!
yes Yes, Flash too seriously looks like he still loves her and she likes him too and I'm very happy I have the same opinion as you too I think that what Sunset said on rainbow rocks was not entirely true I know she was mean and angry but maybe with Flash she was different when they were alone, besides I wanted to murder Flash at the beginning, that at Sunset he mentioned Twilight I know that he liked her but without exaggerating with his ex-girlfriend such things are not asked or spoken when Rarity said that she was being killed in Twilight up to her ears. 'Sunset looked almost heartbroken and sad that means something. knowing Flash, he loved Sunset since he was with her, he is really good, helpful, kind and when he said in the everfree legend that he knew when something bites Sunset, he made my heart warm, which means he had to be very close to Sunset and he saw her good and bad at times he was the only one who had a bond with Sunset but it also hurt him which caused Flash to break up with her you could say she really liked him.

I can’t wait until I get back home from work to watch this. Out of all the reactors I’ve subscribed to, Applegeek is my absolute FAVORITE! Keep it up, my friend! ^^
I am disappointed that the show runners never fully explored this concept. I mean imagine a movie where both the Mane 6 and the Human 7 had to resolve a conflict that endangered both worlds, like what Midnight Sparkle did in Friendship games being a good example. But alas we never got it and on an additional note, I am sad that Sunset never got any screentime in the main show save for a like 3 second cameo in the finale.
I mean it was Twilight's coronation, you'd think that Sunset would have come along for at least that and maybe even joined the effort in the battle with the Mean 3.
It just bothers me so much that even though the EQG specials has some crossover moments, the main show wanted to pretend like she never existed outside of that ONE reference at the end.
This is one of my most favorite specials of the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls series and I sometimes see this on TV too on the Discovery Family Channel. I also really like watching this a lot during the spring and summer months of the year, just like with the movie Legend of Everfree, especially since Spring Breakdown also has a spring and a summer vibe to it as well considering the fact that it seems summer-themed even though it actually takes place during spring break.

Overall, this might be the best Equestria Girls special to date. The first half was a bit slow and there were quite a few missed opportunities, but there's no doubt the best part was human Rainbow Dash and Sci-Twi visiting Equestria. For the longest time, we've wondered what would happen if humans entered the pony world. Now we know. They become ponies just like their counterparts. It would've been cool to see them spend more time there - especially at the end when everyone else joined them - but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen again. Hasbro have already announced a third season of Equestria Girls shorts, so perhaps the brand will live on even when Friendship is Magic comes to an end. Finally, just as a side note, it was absolutely amazing seeing the movie referenced here. Who would've thought that it would tie-in with the rest of the franchise so deeply? I certainly wasn't expecting it. Anyway, we've still got a long way to go before the Season 9 finale. Let's see what else Hasbro (and Applegeek) has in store.

Pony Applejack has four legs rather then 2 and a completely different center of balance than a human does as well as a differently shaped eardrum since it's the eardrum that assists in balancing oneself. So pony Applejack not getting seasick like her human counterpart makes sense because her body is vastly different to that of a human body and even a human's sense of balance.
