- Update 1.05 for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has arrived, and with it, several PVP QoL improvements. This video focuses on the new parts that have been added to the shop with the update.
The LAMMERGEIER set is a Schneider-made lightweight tetrapod frame that sacrifices health, defense and carrying capacity for extra mobility, and you'll notice just how fast it floats while airborne.
I apologize for the lack of no HUD and freecam in this video, as the update seems to have messed up with the mods settings so that the game can't launch in their files' presence.
Four new weapons have been added as well:
- PFAU/66D Pulse Missile Launcher (Schneider)
- WR-0555-ATTACHE Heavy Machine Gun (RaD)
- DF-GA-09 SHAO-WEI Gatling Cannon (Dafeng)
- VE-60LCB Laser Cannon (Arquebus)

I just wonder if the Pulse missiles scale off of Energy Weapon Specification, like the auroras, or of they don't, like plasma missiles cuz this is really gonna affect builds.

Pulse missiles are cool but really expensive . Really hard to get S rank with them against thé final bosses
i do like the new shoulder gats, but i feel we either need a matching "light" gattling gun for the arms or they need a medium light to medium buff to the heat capacity, not the CD the max heat cap.
I pray they keep adding more parts in updates, it’s a genius way to keep the game fresh

@@sirfijoe450 I believe it is about the machine gun fingers in Armored Core (PS1) Project Phantasma & Master of Arena. The weapon is busted beyond belief in Project Phantasma, which got the nerf (along with the ammo) in Master of Arena.
I already unlocked everything on my save so seeing new parts wants me to get back on and try em out

I cannot express how much I adore all of the new parts, but I have a special place in my heart for the legs. Seeing them transform into a triangular shape during assault boost and a straight up fighter jet in hover mode made me realize how much I want more legs with unique animations like this. Maybe some tank legs that are split between 4 tracks that move independently like the Cataphract?
That would be awesome for a tank concept. I know olfer games had H-tank style legs but it would be cool to see them with that sort of animation. Maybe the designs could help with attitude stability and mobility because of the shape (an in-between for the bornemissza and the fortaleza)

@@MKmaki6094 OOO what about tank legs that place the body of the AC towards the front, and the back kinda drags behind, like a snail or a snake with massive stability and armor to compensate for drastically low speed.
Massive amounts of Quad Gattlings builds incoming from all the Dakka loving BALAM employes.
That pulse missile is insane.
Finally the Dafeng 4 Minigun build is possible! The pulse missiles are neat. The Machine gun is cool, it changes barrels instead of mags, neat idea…of course the Laser, as if Laser Alpha Strike builds needed more power
Went against a quad gat build in my c rank promotion earlier tonight. It was on a heavy Tian biped frame, I was on a Lammergeir BVO build. Tore him up pretty good but it was close, I had to really play the pokes and use the buildings in the stage for aerial cover. I think I would’ve had more trouble on a slower build that couldn’t maintain distance from the gats and poke when they were on cooldown.
Quad leg is officially the new gen Hover leg now., especially with that design.

Whichever of the three designers that worked on this frame (my money is on Shoji Kawamori) was cooking, bro!
Just got the final ending for ac6 the night before the patch. Totally gonna use this frame on my next playthrough.
Cool easter egg: the new schnider parts transformation during over boost is a reference to the flying type pulverizer enemies in last raven!

The AC parts looks like a Droideka from Star Wars and I like it
the pulse missile guidance is so bad that it feels more like a burst fire gun best used in shortmed range that you have to charge first, but it do slap hard when it hits
And with the update quad legs got their hoover speed changed according to their respective weight.
Can you do video of Pulse middle launcher against pulse barrier especially against balteus. Want to know how effective is it
Boy this update was long needed addition, out with the songbirds and in with the quad Gatling guns.
Would be cool to see the old design of the lammergeier set before they decided it needed arms lol. would have just been a plane
The back mounted gatling gun is cool, but it overheats way too fast. One cannot brrrrrrrrrrt as they please. 😢

I believe the parts are unlocked after a few chapters.

nawh they reload the barrel and not the ammo
Those Coral-addled madmen at RaD working their magic as usual.
The story is after prolonged use the barrel starts bending due to overheating, to deal with it, they simply change the barrel on the go.
@@keroro407 that's a no brainer but it just reminds me of the reload the gun and not the mag memes

@@5h4k80kinda like one of the prime guns i have in warframe, you don't reload a mag or a clip, you replace the barrel. it was called the Gotva Prime iirc, a void trader purchase.
