No way are modern TV series even close to as good as BG......epic storylines and charactors and exellent acting and production....
The Expanse and Andor are both incredible.
Seems like it, i need get on to it, never watched it still and i love scifi, especially mature style ones.
All this has happened before, and all of it will happen again.
I always laugh imagining this awkward discussion between, lets call her "Kira 6" and Cavill.
Cavill: Great, we are commencing our invasion, lets start from blowing up The Armistice Station.
Kira: Can i go in first, I want to kiss an actual human before we eradicate them.
Cavill: oookeeyy...?
The humanoid Cylons supposedly would give each other a kiss when they knew permanent death was imminent. Since they normally could resurrect, the idea of being permanently dead was known but uncommon with them. They were also quite spiritual, hence the kiss of brotherhood/sisterhood/respect/acknowledgement of one's soul at death. This was a bit of dialogue in season 4, I think. I could be wrong.
@@LauraS1 close enough the kiss was the embodiment of love, soul, etc
@@nfldend501 Most excellent! Thanks for clarifying for us. :) I knew it was something like that.
Never realized that season one begins and ends with gratuitous Tricia Helfer tongue shots before
Gave the Toasters something to watch.
it didn't
@@dreamcore THE EVIDENCE IS IN THE VIDEO YOU JUST COMMENTED ON
@@IndustriousVermin the video does not include the beginning of season one
@@dreamcore YOU BETTER TELL THE BATTLESTAR GALACTICA UA-cam CHANNEL THAT NAMED THE VIDEO. QED
I don't know if someone got the assignment wrong, but this video is not of the opening and closing of Season 1.
This is the opening of the 2003 miniseries, followed by the end of Season 1, in 2005.
The start of Season 1 would be the start of the episode “33”, which may have other connections to the season closing other than Tricia Helfer making out.
yes, I thought the same.
which takes me back to when I first started watching BSG (years ago) I didn't know there was a miniseries. I thought "okay I'll start with season 1 episode 1" and it began "previously on Battlestar Galactica" I was so confused. I watched the rest of the episode being so confused what was going on, especially Baltar's visions.
I legit thought this was going to be Adama walking down the corridors preparing his speech for the decommissioning while greeting members of the crew only for him to arrive in the CIC to get shot 😂
Me, too. It's such an awesome continuous take.
Would be nice of them to just retro number the miniseries into episodes. It would only cause less confusion
BSG ❤
What do Skynet, the Cylons, and AI have in common ? ...well, we now know the answer ...
They have a plan
@@williammitchell4417 They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies...
I Really should watch this series, just saw 2 clips and brings a tear in how well made and gripping it seems to be.
Not sure what ways and where to watch, better if bought i guess.
IP > Everything else
Loved this so much😊
Espectacular el principio de la miniserie
No ai nazmo daun
Always wondered why the ship that took him there didn't radio him like "uh sir somethings approaching..." Than it cuts out
Funny how someone still had the model from the original series handy
Epic.
Why is he still sleeping and not nervously waiting? How did they not know the Cylons were aboard.
Heh, good points. The scene always felt forced and goofy.
@@Name-ps9fx I have to assume they were already in the station when the Colonial shuttle showed up. After all, the Colonials would have been able to see a Cylon shuttle docked while they approached. And if the Cylon shuttle approached while the officer was there, his ship would have surely notified him by radio.
Nahhh. The Cylons pre-staged it all for the shock value.
