@@Beano0123 Not only that but this intro is wrong, the german voice is of exceptional quality, which the PC-Engine could not produce. This voice intro is from the newer Dracula X Chronicles, while the animation is from the old Rondo of Blood
I like the translated version on the psp version trough but still, if konami had brought this game to the west too, it may had saved the pce from it's grace.
So I had the original release of this game on the turbografx cd. That is not the original voice, for sure. I played the game so much I remember it very well. Must be a re-release, and definitely not turbo. I guess it must be the wii console.
This is not the wii console version since that one uses a completly different voice actor and an even more different narration. As far as I know this is the PC-Engine version translated by fans and mostly used for emulation. If your copy sound different than this, then we can assume that Rondo of Blood had 3 separate narrators during it's distribution overseas.
Look up Transylvania Saxxons on wiki. I never knew this before i read some comments. But it would make sense interms of this intro. But its kind of cool to know this. Since i never knew about it. Think it wasnt til after WW2 was over when Germans.. kind of had to leave. But its interesting story.

Interestingly they didn't just get a new voice actor, but the lines themselves are also rewritten.
Subtitles are horribly inaccurate, though. PSP intro had more accurate subtitles for the same voice clip.

the intro narration was redone for the psp remaster. That is the version you see here. the original intro had a different voice actor.
