I'm trying to reuse my factory amplifier (my steering wheel audio control is on CAN-BUS) My amp has 4 inputs, LT RR RADIO (+), LT RR RADIO (-), RT RR RADIO (+), RT RR RADIO (-). since tablet analog signal only has 2 channel output, do I connect both LT RR RADIO (+), LT RR RADIO (-) to left audio input and RT RR RADIO (+), RT RR RADIO (-) to right audio input? cool video, thanks for sharing
I am just starting to research doing this to my 05 LTD Toyota 4Runner, my question though and what I haven't seen addressed yet, is hands free calling. Have you be able steam calls through the speakers with this setup?
I'm using a DVB-T radio tuner with SDR touch full version app. But when I'm connecting it through hub the app is unable to detect it. When I connect it directly via an OTG everything works fine. Can you please give the specification of the hub which you used.
is there any such mod for FORD ECOSPORT the Black Edition 2017 ( India )...... I mean it has some thing called Microsoft sync and the Bluetooth call features will they work if I do this similar setup...
If all of the audio is going through the micro USB cable, how would you go about adding a volume knob? So that you don't have to adjust it on the tablet itself or on the amplifier?
Using the USB method charges the tablet and lets you add things like steering wheel controls. Headphone jack would be a quick and easy alternative for audio though.
The tablet doesn't charge in its standard factory settings. You will need to add a custom kernel to enable it to charge. ElementalX will do it and it's free. You have to unlock the tablet to install custom kernels
Using a tablet in my car in NY, with the temps only hitting like 80, if the car was parked in the sun, black with black interior and windows closed, the interior got too hot and would make the tablet stop charging and get SUPER hot to the touch, likely it will destroy it, so be careful with this people.
MrGts92 It depends what input your amp has. if you have an amp with a 3.5mm jack input it will be possible. my amp has RCA inputs so it needs to be a analogue .
Unfortunately same RCA issues. Very well, i'll look for a DAC, thanks for the reply. You're the first person i've seen that makes this looks straight forward with minimal faff. You have no idea how much i appreciate that.
Not sure why the RCA jack thing should be an issue? All you need is a cable with 3.5mm at one end and 2 RCA at the other end. Then your BT adapter can be wired straight to the AMP without the need for a more expensive DAC.
finally. a video that actually shows what needs to be shown. also, love the KSP tunes
Awesome, glad someone finally showed all the parts and connections needed.
Did make me laugh when it looked like you had 4 hands at 8:01. Lol..great video. Best video on this project.
You are the best teacher...Thanks.
The music in the backround is kiling the whole video. Why music?? just video would be fine
Great video, Any way to connect a backup camera?
Great ideas on the install mate. I liked the video, very informative.

LMAO....... Just pair your bluetooth device to the tablet, simple as that.
you sir have just picked yourself up a sub 👍
Is it possible to do this and keep the original head unit of the car? If possible I would like to keep the originality of the car.

y put the permanent red and switch yellow soldered together and the radio aux would save all the components

I can use Kenwood amplifier 1000watts with it can u just re i want do this project with my car i am rly excited after seeing this video
This Sound Silly, But Why Use A Digital Audio Converter (Dac) When Most Tablets Have A Headphone Jack Thats Analogue ?
Using the USB method charges the tablet and lets you add things like steering wheel controls. Headphone jack would be a quick and easy alternative for audio though.
Would this work for an iPad ?
你好,什麼牌子的這個板塊?
need a connection set or bmw e53 3.0d 2003 android tablet
hey mate can you tell me which DAC you are using?
Behringer UCA202 U-Control Ultra low-latency 2 In/2 Out USB/Audio Interface
is there any way to connect the sub woofer also to the amp
abin johny if your amp is a 5 channel amp
rca splitters also can use the headphone jack to adjust volume
No point attaching a tablet. Android Double Din costs cheaper and has all the inputs needed with reverse camera, tv tuner, dvr, etc...
TRUTH-XPOSED if you get a double din in a Ford Focus 2003 let me know
does the tablet charge with this configuration?

Can you use a Bluetooth receiver instead of DAC? I ask, because i've already got one lying around.

Lee Lauer Rca's tend to make noice.. if you pinch them your going to loose your sound.. i like USb cables better..
Way too much, easy setup is micro usb (charging) and 3.5mm jack to line level amp, then straight to amp.
Then I would have a connector at both ends of the table and no steering wheel controls/ radio
What's this music ??? Your voice is disturbed!!!
Come on mate !!!! Just buy under $20 BLUE TOOTH TO FM CEGARET STICK FROM AMAZON and you will be done with it. Don't complicate yours and our live.
