I was considering it! I never got the chance to play much of it so I'll have to rely on videos to get the "Feel" down correctly. I might try shield sage or another non ddon vocation concept next, But high scepter is certainly on the horizon (If I can recreate it well enough)
All this vocation mod is missing is some gap closer to make the melee/hand to hand aspect feel fluid, fun and zippy. Right now the skills look really cool just no real easy way to get to the targets to use such limited range skills.
This is purely based on the Alchemist class from the MMO, If you want zippity perhaps wait for this guy to make High Scepter for DD2 as that class is sword and magick and has precisely what you are describing.
There was a gap closer in the MMO. I had a the gap closer to start combat and a retreat skill to disengaged to detonate stacks. Figuring all that out without knowing the language was pretty fun
Im so pissed at the fact that there will never be mod support for ps5 games like this. Although base dd2 is still pretty neat, mods are able to just get that itch you wanna relieve when looking for something fresh
when the modders has much more superb ideas, much more understanding of the said game and willingness to undergo many length compared to game's own dev team.. It can be used with a weapon though I have not tested it, I don't actually know how things scale with stats or augments. I assume a lot of it would either be static or scaled off of your magic stat, with the physical punches themselves being based on strength, though the punches themselves besides finishers won't do a lot of damage regardless.
@undertaker2766 Confusion is understandable! This was made with skill maker on nexus mods, Combining animations and spell effects. Since so many effects are derived from bosses or npcs and such, I don't know how the game calculates say, "levin" when not actually being cast through the mages skill. More testing will have to be done to determine how it works. I can adjust the damage of each effect but it could be they'll do the same damage regardless of level, gear, stats, or buffs.
@@Carmelpoptart thx for explaining it to me. From all the vocation mods I've seen this one looks the funniest. I'll try it if I'm not lazy of modding it into my game!
I like the idea of this class, but not sure how it is an alchemist, no potions or anything. This class is closer to a monk with explosive spells. Have you thought about using these same spells but having them be different "elixirs" that are thrown instead of just coming out of the character.
It's based on the Alchemist Vocation from Dragon's Dogma Online, this mod isn't the most accurate as the Gold Pillar effects aren't really in Dragon's Dogma 2 Here's a video showcasing some of the Alchemist's Skills: ua-cam.com/video/1I3ll-Z_D9M/v-deo.html And here's a Boss Fight: ua-cam.com/video/zhXjL8O9-gM/v-deo.html (Yes that is a Shotgun) Also what you're talking about is Herbalism, the act of using plants to concoct helpful or harmful medicines is called Herbalism, Alchemy is an ancient natural philosophy and the Pseudo-Scientific precursor to modern day Chemistry, it has more to do with the Transmutation of Metals than mixing Herbs to make Potions If there is a single definitive Alchemist Class in any Game that properly represents what Alchemy was all about, it's DDO's Alchemist
What the fuck is this whining. There are no way to add new animation, the game have no potion animation or for consumable. This is the limit of modding. Honestly feels like the only thing missing are the pillars that grow out of ebemies after each attack and exploding them
Okey yep, I wasn't convinced by anything else so far in terms of spell additions but this is just dead accurate to Dogma Online, High Scepter when?!

Man I love mod community, I'm running rn to get this mod and donate because these guys do more for the game than Capcon
This make me think of an elemental ninja, fighting with barehands or bareknuckles would be so much fun.
Wow I hope dd2 devs or the project owners see this
Bro this is amazing!

Capcom be sweating to make vocations that are half as cool
Here's the thing, they MADE this Vocation in Dragon's Dogma Online, but also chose to kill the Game because they weren't making enough money off of it
This would be sick !!!
You shouldn't have had to even make this mod, it should have been in the game..
It's a shame, that's the main class I wanted in DD2

Hey, that's the DDO class right?
Hell yeah it is
Your pc prob over heating. And prob saved before every time using abilities lol
I tested myself, it's not that heavy. And there's already the Mystick Knight and Monk classes too.
Does this class use a weapon or is bare handed? If so how does the damage scale
I think it’s based off the online vocation so I think it scales with magic and has a phial or catalyst as it’s weapon
