Being able to pllay a magic based melee build is great! I also like warfarer Spear-dagger-bow. You can come close with spear, closecombat with both spear or daggers and kick the opponent into arrow and back to spear rushing.
My main is already a warfarer but I only use 1 spearhand ability that shield ability. This makes me want to play a full on spearhand vocation. Good vid bro 👏
Spearhand is so awesome. I haven’t been able to get the timing down to teleport to enemies or stun groups. These are mostly core skills the vocation gives to the player right? I guess my button mashing isn’t fast enough.
I don't know if this gonna help, but controller vibration (if by any chance you use one) really helpful. If it vibrates, then it's the moment you should press the assigned button to teleport or stun mass mobs
What helped me learn the timing is figuring out the timer starts on hit rather than on when you fire the bolt. It seems that way anyway, as I started getting it almost every time.
after starting your first New game + cycle the dragonforged has new services which lets you reduce the stamina consumption of a skill, increase stats gained on level up, and a few buffs like bonus xp for a day.
I usually roll Rhewynt because ice damage seems universally applicable to most enemies (except succubi), especially if it's raining. Plus it's physical damage hits over 1,000. Any other spear I use is just because I like the way it looks. I'm in NG+4 now, so it's not like I'm hurting for damage.
@@poornation I’m going to revert back to it and give it another whirl. Definitely looks better. I’m ng+3 @ around 650 hours. However I don’t really want to do the quests again. Been wondering if I stay too long if NPC’s will eventually all die on me 😅 Did you complete unmoored world each time? I dislike being stuck in the dark but could cope with just doing the 3 beacons.
I did go through the unmoored each time, yeah, but you're right, it's a bit too red and dark to hang around, so I just spammed the main quest to Nation of the Lambent Flame stopped there for this run.
@@poornation you’ve done the exact same as me… only with an extra run. Knocking down the talus early was a nice surprise for me at unmoored last time. All three play throughs have been different. I’ve got my spear back out today by the way… I look a bit rubbish but it’s just about getting the job done 😅 thanks for the inspiration
Honestly, I just practiced it to the point that I have the timing memorized. In some of my more recent videos, I have the button UI on screen, so you can see the timing between my button presses. Hope that helps.
Are you talking about the movie when he clones himself? That is the master ability you get from Sigurd by either killing the red dragon in Melve with the ballista or in the dragon tower.

The Mystic Spearhand and Warrior class makes me feel like a one-man-army.
This is goals!! Hope to be as masterful as this. The timing for scattering bolt into quick fot is so hard tho.

Nah doesn’t need lock on. I enjoy free aiming. Lock on would make the combat too automatic like souls games.

Ant tips for consistently teleporting after scatering bolt? I can't get that to work on an ox consistently and you're doing it midair..
