Yes. I have some AI read books and others by human. My belief is it is better to give an option to those who cannot read or something *at least* better than a text to speech program. As I can, I'll be updating all videos to full human read audiobooks. If you look up anything from my Rogue Elf series or Rogues of Magic you will get 100% human narration. And can you give me a timestamp for an example of where it cuts off? 😊
No. Just the author. I've done live readings on FB a few years back but I currently don't have a great set up for recording. I did try. The story "Wynder" on my YT channel was me. But the quality is meh so I'll be reuploading it.
@@JTWilliamsauthor I saw somewhere else after I commented that it's AI. That's pretty impressive. I'm thinking of doing it with my book when it's published if I can't scrape together audio narrator money.
Yes, outside of Stormborn Saga 1-3, it's AI. For years I've wanted a way for it to make financial sense to produce some of my audiobooks. Ebook advertising/ production cost kept me from having the extra income to really invest in audiobooks. While my Rogues of Magic series is published by Podium Audio and my Rogue Elf series is published by Tantor Audio, my other books finally have an audio option! It's really awesome for those that are on the road a lot, unable to read due to disability, or just prefer audio... and it's leaps above auto-narration options via Kindle or Apple... So, it works. My intention is to take any profit from this and invest in human narration thst otherwise I would not be able to obtain for these series!
@@JTWilliamsauthor Fantasy. It's in editing now. This will be my debut when it comes out and I'm self-publishing through Amazon KDP and Kindle Unlimited I've decided. Mostly just looking to get my writing out there and reviewed instead of focusing on profit. Something like AI narration might be better than nothing until/unless I can actually turn profit.
Yes. Only until I can pay for a proper narrator. I use a higher end service for the audio than either Google or Amazon uses. The service also trained their systems with consenting VAs. Otherwise, these titles would not have been produced in this format. I wholly agree with paying for human narration over AI but the cost of doing so has held back many of my titles from ever being properly narrated. This is a good intermediary and allows those that can only listen to have an option to hear the stories. 😁
Enough for the amount I pushed it. For readers of my other series, it has quite a few tidbits of lore and it feeds into other books. I wrote it as a laid back, palate cleanser between my larger and more complex books. 🍺

Yes sir. It is AI read and as stated in other comments, my plan is to use any income I can to have a proper narrator eventually produce all of these. Until then, I'll offer them for free here on UA-cam. 😊 If you check out my Rogue Elf series Stormborn Saga 1-3, and Rogues of Magic you will find 100% human narration. @@JTWilliamsauthor It’s the story. Are you the author? Then I am actually sorry for the harsh words. I have surely heard or read worse stuff. And I know how much effort it is to create a book. It’s just that I felt at times that all cliches about dwarfes were there. Without being able to name any details, I remember a moment when some bearded guy was talking to another bearded guy and one was probably a king and then randomly they got attacked, but it was kind of inconsequential because they just started cracking skulls with some hammers. This reads like the latest lord of the rings movies with dwarves. Everything is super important and epic and everyone is super bearded and probably muscular. And therefore nothing is. Well but I did not finish the story so maybe this is totally unfair in terms of criticism!
@@BlueQualityRhythm Ha. Oddly, another comment said i went 'beyond the cliches" of The Hobbit and the like but it's all an opinion for and against that in the first place. No worries about the harsh words, at all. Cliches are definitely there but it's partially because I like the cliches (I wasn't trying to show dwarves in some brand new light) but also because these particular dwarves are not run-of-the-mill dwarves. While the King has his own weaknesses, the Hammersongs are the dwarf equivalent of 'Special Forces' and so they do everything at the highest level... especially combat. I wrote this story as novellas and as such I fully intended for them to be lighter and simpler. These were my 'light' writing between my The Rogue Elf and Stormborn Saga series which are much more detailed and longer. As this story has progressed (finishing up the 10th novella now), I went weirder and weirder, getting much further from the origins here and currently Turgon and a ranger apprentice are in a pseudo-Termina Field (Majora's Mask reference) trapped by an evil fairy goddess... guess you could say it got VERY weird! Fast forward to my other series and not only do the Ikinidor dwarves appear in my Blackmoon War series but also Turgon, just appeared as a renegade dwarf in a dwarf city in the Far East as part of my The Rogue Elf series. Oddly, this series becomes less epic and far more sword and sorcery than I originally expected but it's all good fun. I've got a book coming that is about to kill several of these characters so, it's a bit bittersweet thinking about where they all got started!
