My good maxbillie. I imagine you to be quite young though I confess I may be wrong. Do give a listen to the Stooges (Iggy Pop) 1967, New York Dolls 1971 and the Ramones 1974 who gave birth to the Sex Pistols and punk in the UK. There were others as well but this should give you a good start.

The raw heaviness of Steve Jones' tone is unbelievable. So distinctive and he doesn't move his wrist or hand so much - it's just him. Incredible.
