Technically, the transition was rough... but without that eventual transition, there wouldn't be as many fans as there are today 🥰
The idea that Sonic had a rough transition to 3D isn’t entirely correct, it was just a critic’s opinion.
the 2.5 d games like sonic 3d blast is like a meme but i love the sonic adventure 1-2
I liked this video. I believe that sonics transition to 3d technically started with 3d blast (which i like btw) but Sa1 was the true leap into the 3rd dimension, and I think its the 4th best sonic game. Good video.

My Honest Thoughts on Sonic's Transition to 3D is that he didn't have a Hard time Like you said and even heroes was a good game that's 3 big games that made a Awesome first start with Sonic in 3D then with Shadow and 06 Being....well "Bad" Most people saw sonic games in 3d as a Meme but with Unleashed until forces I felt like sonic got back to making good games and I stand by that :D Now 06 I feel like it could have been good but that's another topic for another day Anyway this was another Awesome Video and I am Loving this Series so far mate

When it comes to videos games, art, and media, it’s all subjective. I don’t have a problem with someone saying that sonic had a rough transition to 3D if they actually mean it. It’s their opinion, I can’t change it for them.

No , the only rough part was fishing , it was a mechanical variety pack.
Awkward is what it was , they wrote for an anime and only showed the climax.
Which is why all the context is missing , a remake could fix it if they kept it low rez.
