This is the difference between Chinese debt and for example the IMF, it always comes with: "if you can't pay, we take it away" condition. IMF also comes with conditions, but those are conditions before you get the loan, like democratic and economic reforms, but you never loose control of important infrastructure when you can't pay. that is not how trade work, nobody force you to buy anything from China. When you buy something, that mean you need it. You pay for it and you get to use it.
Shows you hv no idea how logistics works.. LoL. Every piece of the container box needs paperwork, customs etc declarations. The locals do this work. Some goods are even offloaded then repackaged before sending off to Europe. That's work for the locals. Empty boxes needs space for storage, that's rent per daily , and cleaning health bill before new stuff loading. That's work for locals. All these movement needs trucking .. That's work for locals. and everyone needs to eat n sleep , that's business /housing for locals.. 😂

No, they were both important. Turkistan in kazakhstan was also a very important city. And it's because of the battle of Talas in kz/kyrgz that the knowledge of how to make paper spread from China, before the An Lushan rebellion.
