This was a coaching game with a student around 1500-1600 ELO. This setup is what we call 4 cities + longest road. We typically go for this setup when we lack sheep since we usually only need 2 sheep to get the initial 2 settles and build the rest of the points. Enjoy this game!

The whole dynamic changed drastically when they made those placement. Green and blue could have gone 4911 & 3611 (not 5611 because black can double plow from 311 & take the rest of the spots) respectively. Then your ideal setup would be limited to 31112/3411. That to say, I understand that green did a good job monopolising the sheep using that setup. Who knows nobody goes 3411 😂.
