Good video. I don't have 11:47 DMR2YSF as a server config option. for DMR Configuration. Oh well. I'm also using the new Pi-star fork called WPSD Digital Voice Dashboard.

Thank you for your comment. I added a part 2 to this video. I forgot to mention in the first video, how to connect to YSF Reflectors that begin with one or more zeroes.

It's nice to have more than 1 digital mode available with just one radio. There are many QSO's to he had on the digital networks! Thank you for your comment.

Is there any way you can setup pistar so that you can use a DMR radio to access BM talk groups and access YSF rooms without changing the pistar config each time you want to use BM or YSF? I tried making DMR group call with the YSF room prefixed by a 7 with DMR to YSF turned on as I think this worked in the past but not now.

Yes Adrian, there is. Make sure both DMR and DMR2YSF are both on. Go to DMR configuration and change your DMR Master to DMRGateway. Hit apply changes. After the apply changes, a greatly expanded DMR Configuration section appears. Now you cam select your Brandmeister Server on the second line next to Brandmeister Master. On the 5th line next to Brandmeister Network Enable, turn that switch on. Hit apply changes. Brandmeister will still work like normal. If you go to pistar.uk website and click on YSF/FCS Tools you can see the talkgroup numbers to connect and chat on YSF and FCS Reflectors under the DMR Gateway column. YSF reflectors are group call 70xxxxx where the xxxxx is the 5 digit # of the YSF Reflector. FCS reflectors are 71xxxxx where the xxxxx is the 5 digit FCS refector. To unlink from a YSF or FCS reflector, key up 7004000. For DMR unlink key up 4000. With this setup you should easily be able to jump back and forth between the 2 networks.

@@adrianpeake7986 you can leave your hotspot setup that way regularly to have immediate access to both Brandmeister and YSF. It is sort of a 2 modes for the price of 1!

Trying keying up a group call 32592 and link to America-Link. It is usually busy there. Parrot oftentimes does not work.

same here I can hear them but they can't hear me and some ppl talking show my Call sign. on 32592

@@MONTY-YTNOM the people that are showing your callsign and DMR ID are people who DO NOT have their own DMR ID. So when they transmit, the pi-star sends your DMR ID and callsign back to your radio. If you keep transmitting with Group Call 32592 they SHOULD hear you. Also try group call 131037. That is America-Link on FCS Reflector 310-37. See if that works better for you.
