Thanks, I’m glad they are helpful. I hope to visit your country at some point to chase a couple species! It’s on my list for sure, not sure when, but I am going to make it happen.
I think you just found a new title, "The Carp Annoyer" !! Here in SW Missouri, my favorite fishery, Bull Shoals Lake, the Corps has it so flooded the fish are really discombobulated. Can't really see where the fish are. And the Ozarks weather is really showing its bipolar tendencies. Keep up the vids, they are looking really good.
Thanks, sorry to annoy you. Most of my favorite areas are still iced over here, which is crazy. Usually by mid April everything but the high mountain lakes are thawed and fishing. It has been a crazy year so far.
You still able to get carp to eat during the spawn? I’ve got a flooded marsh out by me and was wondering how hard they are during the spawn. Amazing video. Love the play through of your hookups
Absolutely. Fly fishing during the spawn can be the best of the entire year. I am not a bait fishing expert for carp, and I have heard a lot of bait anglers say they don’t eat during the spawn and they don’t bother fishing. That may be true, but they eat flies. Not the active spawners. But if you position near the active spawners you can pick up all the other fish not spawning. There will usually be quite a few near a spawning group that aren’t spawning, and the spawners make it easy to find the group.
I can watch these videos all day. I love fly fishing for carps.
Lol, it’s better to go actually fish, but I do love watching fish and fishing when I can’t get out myself.
Very cool drone footage
Thanks
Some amazing footage once again thanks for sharing
Thanks, happy to share
Went out for carp my second time after your class at the Expo and caught a couple! Man it was a blast. Thanks for all the tips!

Can you include a picture of the fly your using?
I will start to do that. I have thought about it, but I will make it a point to do that from now on. Good feedback.
Which fly line are you using? And color?
This is Cortland Big Shot in blue.
