False evidence of registration.
The terminology in CA
Frank has every single word of the Arizona traffic law memorized
but he doesn't understand the meaning of the word "fictitious." it might be fraud or misrepresentation but it's not fictitious. the law may use that word and apply it to this situation as well, but the plate still is not fictitious.
❤❤❤ love Frank!!!
@@dummkompf👈 Dunning-Kruger poster child
not how that works@@Bowhunters
@@dummkompfI get what you’re saying because “fictitious” seems to have several definitions but if the law uses that language and he is enforcing the law I don’t see why he wouldn’t use the same language to enforce those laws.
i love how frank is just constantly baffled by the stupidity of the people he pulls over
He would have made a GREAT Marine. You should see some of the dumbest things I saw over my 22 year tour of duty...
Stupidity is not illegal. But there are consequences...
It doesn’t help that he’s incredibly snarky and condescending from the jump. Even if the suspect truly made a mistake and/or is apologetic.
He must go home after his shift with a headache from all the stupidity he comes across
@@BladesByClaw Huh. You know that the driver did it purposefully. You must be one of those dudes who does not accept that there are rules. Frank does not need to help anyone commit fraud.
I love that he pulled someone over for throwing out his cigarette.
Arkansas actually has a litter hotline. They send letters of warning to litter bugs, 2 or 3 letters and they get a visit from the sheriff 😅😅😅❤
@user-pc4fi9rh1w because you report their plate and it's in the system
I mean its not just litter its also a fire hazard especially in a super dry state like Arizona
A letter of warning and visit from sheriff means nothing. Officer has to witness it to write it so shut the door tell em to leave adios
@@mrmotofy you are entitled to believe what you believe
Just call it like it is. Homie got the new tag sticker for his Harley (since its WAY cheaper) and just straight up decided to put it on his truck thinking no officer would notice or pull him over thinking the car registration was paid. No beating around the bush "I didn't know". Guy 100% knew was he was doing
Exactly
Didnt get past this supercop though
He sealed his fate instantly when he replied with "It's from my motorcycle" during the initial question. He acknowledged the existence of the sticker and the fact that he knew it didn't belong to the truck in one sentence. Act and motive established with one question.
Not sure why his truck wasn't impounded since it didnt have a valid registration plate, which I assume also invalidates any insurance.
I live in NJ I didn't kno anything bout the tabs but I agree
I'm so proud to live in Pinal Country and claim Deputy Sloup as our own.
Frank is such a legend. Never a misplaced word, respected and respectful. He knows his laws as well. What a great example of a true professional!
Just the perfect mix of professionalism, directness, a pinch of sarcasm and snark. Perfect.
He's been fired twice and he's on the brady list.
I think so too but I would bet a lot of people don't agree.
The number of people that don’t wear a seatbelt boggles my mind.

Respect for a public servant that talks down to them and thinks he knows better than the people he serves? You either don't understand respect of are able to recognize sarcasm.
@@krane15 It’s literally his profession…he does know better than 99% of the people he’s stopping. Also talking down to them? It’s called authority and he’s asserting it because what these people do is dangerous and there are rules against it. @@krane15 regardless of whether or not you like him there is no argument he DOES in fact know the law better than 99.9% of the people he serves.
Love that you took the whole license plate!
that's because you're the type of ignorant fool corrupt rich politicians love and rely on.
Wonder what the law has to say about pealing sticker back to last prior yr of same color? I've done that in my youth. hehehe
In California they tow the vehicle for fake tags or expired over 180 days.
You have to bring everything current and have insurance and a valid license before they release your car... Plus the hundreds of dollars for tow and storage and fines. That guy got off easy!
@@grizzleypeak Having been pulled many times, usually for speed, doing everything right will usually get me off with something trivial like a fix-it-ticket for window tint or warning.

I got pulled for a tag 6 months out of date and wasn't towed.
And since Frank took the _expired_ plate with the illegal sticker off the truck, I would think it now would have to be towed.
This officer is amazing! Keeping a light (yet respectful) tone with the public (who are largely clueless)....he actually tries to help them while enforcing the law. Great guy!

One of my buddies did the fake registration/sticker swap thing. Before he did it I warned him that it's a really bad idea to turn a traffic infraction into a criminal act, but he didn't listen. He got super lucky that the cop that stopped him didn't nail him. She had him tear it off and told him to drive straight home.
Another buddy swapped the plate from his Escort onto his unregistered Ranchero, then did a burnout right in front of a cop; brilliant! He was cuffed and in the back seat of the car, I was still in the passenger seat. The cop pulled him out and walked him back to the Ranchero we were in and said to him "this is by far, the ugliest 1989 Ford Escort GT I've seen in my life." Then put him back into the patrol car for his ride to jail.

My own theory: Window tints are very strongly positively correlated with stupidity
I believe it
In my case I kinda need it during the day as Im hypersensitive to light. Still wont tint to the levels you see every where
As someone with limo tint, I 100% agree
I'd say driver and windshield for sure.
That’s why all police cruisers are equipped with tint
These are educational and entertaining for me as a viewer. Thank you for sharing these with us.
Drivers not using their indicator, not stopping at signs, speeding in excessive way, tinting windows illegaly etc. may think it's all a minor but: It shows theire way to think about rules and laws. So get them stopped and handled with a sense of proportion. Friendly when they are, but consequently.
A few years ago Pennsylvania did away with those little expirations stickers to save money. The only way officers know that the registration is expired is to run the tag. I live in PA and I think this was the dumbest move ever. Even as an owner I could glance at my tag and realize registration was coming due soon. The same way I glance at the safety and emission stickers on the windshield.
US needs to catch up. Here in Australia HWP in ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD (and probably other states as well) have cameras that constantly autoscan number plates, we haven't had to have a sticker or carry proof of rego for quite a few years. Also means the rates of people driving unregistered is at an all-time low, because they'll get flagged if a cop so much as drives near them.
@@Plutogalaxy I get an email reminder 2 months in advance, super simple to renew. I would love not having those stickers.
Good for Pennsylvania. I don't have to prove that I paid, you have to prove that I didn't, especially since its not a safety issue. If you need help remembering then write it on the sticker next to the oil change date, put it in your phone calendar. An grown adult shouldn't need a tag to remind them, not in the smart phone era.
Yeah no they did the same in Ct and you get more than enough notice from DMV it’s time to renew your registration they give you three months heads up so that’s an excuse
And Ct got rid of the stickers for this very reason they were easily stolen/removed/re mounted on a wrong plate.
Deputy Frank your services are much needed here in Sacramento, CA.

Nice work officer. Polite and respectful but to the point.
Without rules, there is only chaos.
I know someone who tried this. I also watched the police office scrape the year sticker off the plate with his pocket knife. The stickers have an identifying number on them, so you can't move them from vehicle to vehicle. In California they do anyway.
Why not make it illegal for anyone to sell illegal tints and deal with the problem at source?
I get your point but tint isn't used just for cars. Nothing would stop someone from buying it somewhere and have their buddy put it on or do it on their own if they knew how. Most shops will tell you beforehand to avoid any repercussions or buyer's remorse.
Because it's not illegal to tint certain windows, even on a car.

Sheriff Sloup for the Win. Let’s remind ourselves this person is avoiding paying the required registration and is on our streets. Insurance?!
I'm confused as to why it matters he's on the streets without renewed registration. It literally doesn't affect anybody else. You're talking about paying a 3 digit fine every year just for a sticker. It's hard for some people to do that so they drive at their own risk. Doesn't affect another soul
It DOES affect everyone else...
Just WHERE do you think a large part of the money required to maintain our roadways comes from?
Wise up.
@davelowets it comes out of the billions the state has in tax surplus. And besides for the roads to be fixed by taxes, they actually have to he fixed and not left to rot. Literally NOBODY is affected by others now renewing their plates. What you and the original commenter fail to realize is that insurance is not the same as registration. You sure are some clown

The illegal tints make the vehicle unroadworthy, and the police cannot allow it to continue until it is made roadworthy.

Yep, I'm a road worker too. I have been hit several times. Fortunately I was always in a piece of equipment. The last time, about a year ago, I was in a sweeper and the car that hit me was going 50 mph. I had all my flashing lights on including the new blue lights recently approved in Nevada. They said they didn't see me in a huge Elgin sweeper.
