I’ve worked in a little bit of law enforcement and a little bit of mechanic work coincidentally. So when he said “the engine runs more efficiently at low speed,” that’s only half true. Most modern cars with a transmission that has an overdrive, will get its maximum efficiency between 40-60, depending when it hits overdrive on that particular vehicle. The constant raising of RPMs basically, is what causes it. Whereas when you hit overdrive and up to 20 mph after overdrive began, the engine rpms are staying steady and not having to work as hard. This is especially true with your larger engines. The worst gas mileage is actually in first gear. But at least he said “he wasn’t a mechanic” lol

But at least he said “he wasn’t a mechanic” lol
u dont even need to be a mechanic, you just need to read the sticker that says city: 15mpg, hwy: 25mpg
@@MrPaxio bear in mind the stickers are kind of pessimistic averages. Your true fuel economy completely depends on your driving style. If you're a mellow and safe driver, you'll see numbers even higher than what the sticker says. Likewise, driving aggressively will make those numbers plummet.
Imagine having the worst day of your life and then you get pulled over by this guy 🤦🏻😂
This guy has been fired twice.
Officer Sloup I greatly appreciate your service!! I live in Ohio and I’m telling you Arizona is blessed to have on the job!!
The ignorance of some drivers is astounding!
