Got my 06 2 years ago it currently has 206k miles and runs fantastic I just replaced the starter and the battery a couple years ago I love the looks it’s so unique and you don’t see many of them which is a good thing I don’t want what everybody has the performance is enough especially when vtech comes on I highly recommend
The TSX required +91 octane; but, owners still put in 87-93 octane. It wasn't until the TLX/RDX/MDX/RLX DI 4/6 cylinders engines when +91 became recommended and 87 octane minimal. The 06-08 TSX with the mid cycle updates was the models to get. It had 2 position memory driver seat, XM was added after 05, power passenger seat, updated gauge cluster with multi information display, updated navi, updated front/rear bumpers, and updated engine with more hp.
Good review dude, a little windy and watch out for them cops in the background. I have an 06 TSX same color just flipped 103K miles. All I have replaced was battery, alternator and new coils and spark plugs. She runs and feels like brand new. Bluetooth doesn't work on Iphone but plugging phone into AUX gives you bluetooth / sorta
My parents told me they could lend me $3,000 for a vehicle so I can use as daily driver. I found 2 vehicles for good price under $3500 2004 honda accord v6 or 2004 acura tsx 4banger. I decided to choose the 2004 honda accord v6 automatic 2 door. I regret it tho I should of chose the txs is has the 2.4k and it comes with a timing chain not a belt like my accord. And the tsx has great interior quality bc acura is luxury even tho they are the same brand. I still love my 2004 accord coupe it has 240hp but that tsx is a great desire
Hey MET, I’m making a video about my first new car back in ‘03 and your TSX is almost the same car (mine had a cool gray interior) and was wondering if I could use small clips from your great video. I’d leave a link to your original video, of course. Thanks!
Yes, it does take premium. I fill mine with premium, however, if you’ve been putting regular in it and don’t hear any signs of “engine knocking”, I wouldn’t worry about it at this point. But again, to answer your question, yes it is supposed to run on premium.
@@ThatOneGuy24143 I drove mine from NY to MO on 87 and she was not performing like the detuned Honda Accord Euro R she is lol I added that 93 in and I'm due for new tires 😎 I'm sure you can tell how much i love my car.
@@Mickey4 thank you that's what I was trying to figure out. I HAVE to have my music. It sounds dumb but no music aux port is a complete deal breaker for me
I was actually pretty disappointed in how this car ran. I owned it for roughly 1 year and replaced the sway bar links, power steering pump, alternator, timing chain/timing chain tensioner. Very disappointed for a Honda/Acura. I know I’m missing some stuff. On top of that, it was burning oil like crazy. About 1-1.5 quarts every 1,200 miles. Maybe I just got unlucky with this one. Who knows.

That starter is a pain to replace 🤣. Mine got corroded on so much my mechanic had to use a 6 feet extension in a breaker bar to break the bolt loose
