This is one of the best manual sedans ever made. Ive had mine for nearly 20 years and it does everything well. Obviously its not a high performance sedan but its just enjoyable to drive and row through those gears doing daily duties.

Agreed. For what they set out to create, Acura nailed it with the TSX. It’s a near perfect machine.

Not high performance but definitely feels sporty. So much fun to drive. And definitely easy to increase the power on these guys too.

Strip some weight, add a bit of power and it's a track weapon.

Spot on with the review. Fortunate to have owned both 6 speed 1st and 2nd gens, with the former being the current one I own. Just under 89K with the rare A-Spec suspension (I had luck finding a brand new set recently), Spoon air filter, and a CL1 Euro-R rear sway bar. Despite their age, they're a true treat to own

I’ve had my 06 6 speed for 5 years now, it’s at 162k and I’ve put about 60k on it. I’ve done a lot of regular maintenance because I plan to drive it to 300k, or beyond! I used to drive Integras and this was a perfect step up! Unfortunately mine will rust out before anything serious happens to the engine or tranny 😢

Btw mine only has a few mods. Tanabe Medalion catback exhaust, and a comptech short shifter, new use I must be short, I had to lean forward to hit 3rd and 5th!

That rust monster is no joke. Sounds like she’s had an awesome life though.

Loving these. How did it conpare to the GS450h you reviewed? Which would you go for?

Love them both but very different animals. The GS feels much more substantial and planted….and much more powerful. The Lexus interior is also another level above the Acura. The TSX is far more toss-able and rev happy. The manual trans is also a huge bonus. You can’t lose either way.

I know I'm late but now I want one of these. I have already a Honda Accord Sport Special Edition, 2017, which is apparently the latest version of the K24 or one of em. But it has a CVT and I want a backup car. What a great one to have. Yeah. 6 speed baby.

Never too late to go find one…they’re out there and you will love it if the K24 is your jam.

@@autoobsessivegarage Update. Yeah, the TL takes premium gas and would be a gas hog by comparison to the 4's, plus this K24 is bumped up in power compared to my Accord K24. I think the suspension is superior in the Acura also.

Always wanted one of those back in the day, but they were always out of my price range.
Back in 2005, I got a 2003 Accord Coupe V6, which was about 7 or 8 grand cheaper than the TSX I wanted.
Turned out loving the V6 Accord Coupe, but always wondered what it would have been like owning a TSX.

If a manual model ever fell I by I my lap, I’d love to. Wish the wagon had the manual option.
