It's Halloween and Geoff released his take on Monster Mash. You REALLY have to give it a listen, it's winning all of the love for the combination of great singing/arranging and hysterically funny performance. . (And yes, of course I'll be back tomorrow for this tallest of all the dwarves.)

My favorite Geoff video is his cover of "Blackbird". It's a fantastic arrangement, and shows almost the full range of his voice.
One of my favorites as well. I think his cover of "High and Dry" is another great one that doesn't get enough attention.

Geoff is a different spelling of Jeff, the original one, and is pronounced the same way. Just so you kow. :) He is a phenomenon isn't he? it is very soothing, yes. He just gets better and better. I hope you feel better soon.
They often spell it as Geoffrey in Britain.

The original is Gottfried (German) meaning 'Peace of God'.
@@TheWabbitSeason The English form of Geoffrey came with the Norman French but the name is allied to the German, Gottfried and Dutch Gotfried. It became Jeff in the US later, possibly due to the smilarity to Jefferson, the president.
That last 'day' has such a beautiful fog horn quality to it in all the best ways.
The 3 greatest bass singers in the world today are Avi Kaplan, Tim Foust and our gorgeous Geoff! Besides this haunting LOTR song, 'Blackbird', 'Man of Constant Sorrow' and 'House of the Rising Sun' are my current favourites, but his new 'Monster Mash' is great fun!!!
