Wow - and double wow! This is just the video/music I need to brighten my life. I am a lover of a broad range of music and ska. has a very special place in the group. These guys are near the top. Love the bass player and of course, everyone else. A super group of players. Love the audience too.🥰🤗😲😁
This was the 'bread & butter' of my existence as a teenager in the local Youth Club ... Anyone who can't groove to this must be in a coma. Fantastic live performance truly appreciated by a young audience. Truly wonderful, thank you ☘️
I saw Lloyd Knibb 2 days before he passed away when he was in the hospital. It was heartbreaking. Lloyd gave free lessons to all of our drummers and he treated me like a son.
@@rudeboyspodcast I remember being on tour in Germany with the Skatalites and Lloyd Knibb always watched my back. It was great that he lived so close to Boston. Sometimes he'd show up at gigs and sit in on Rockfort Rock or Ska Ba with my old group.

So did I . I grew up on Ocean View Ave, in Bournemouth Gardens. I attended rehearsals at Bournemouth Club, after kicking the football at the park next-door. Tommy McCook lived on slip-dock road, and Don Drummond had not yet murdered Anita (Marguerita) Mahfood.

Such a fantastic performance. Does anyone out there know the name of the song at the very very beginning, during the voice over introduction? Back Home, or something like that
It was a music club in Providence Rhode Island Attached to a hotel. The Church House Inn. In the early nineties the Skatalites would do 2 Sets! Between sets would go up to their rooms and recreate and come back down for the second set...amazing at that age .
