Just by watching this i can tell anyone that chooses to use any weapon other than katana and gunblade will suffer i hate when sega does this i tried to do it as ranger and its like you never get a chance to attack. P.s you got hit by every thing as a slayer . I didnt get hit at all as a ranger and i still couldn’t get a chance to attack sega keeps fucking up constantly making quest for only the weeb weapons while forgetting other weapons exist
I did this with Knuckles, it's more time to learn but it's still possible to get it. Also I saw a video of a Rifle user doing fine too. Gunblade and Katana may be easier but that doesn't mean the other weapons are useless. Just need to practice more than others.
I defeated him using my ranger with 4000bp. I was using the rifle weapon action the whole time. 10k damage for every parry. You just need to learn the right time to parry. It's not that difficult. I think i suffer a lot more on Solus on the first week when he was release haha.
I have tried playing as Ranger as well, it is definitely more difficult than slayer due to the more strict animation locks, but definitely still clearable (there are many other clear videos with ranger as well).
Ranger is amazing on this fight, you can just lay mines everywhere with WA and they all explode once he puts his hand on the deck. Also, RA WA timing is likely the most forgiving counter in the game. But go off.
