[PSO2:NGS] Malignant Dark Falz Aegis 1/4 - Solo - S Rank - MDFA - Bo/Sl

Oh my goodness, this had so much HP.
This also wouldn't be a DFA quest without stuffing all your palettes with niche weapons!
I found myself only being able to use a Fixa Wix 4 Tisah SB/Boots, that I was luckily able to find on the market. At first, I kind of brushed it aside, thinking I would need at least a Flugel Fatale 2+, or a Tisah Abandac 5 to clear. But as I kept trying, the more it felt possible!
Tisah SB and Boots have a pretty stinky demerit, which can really affect how you perform in the quest. You lose 30pp every time you get hit, which...will happen a lot with this boss.
- Ranged Melek Blastor 5 is my PB stick that I switch to when I can.
- Evolcoat is to charge my second PB on the first dps check in order to have it available for the Break I timed with 10/15 DA in my skill tree. I also use it to charge PB on the final dps check.
- Codeck is used to tank the first DPS check's explosion.
- Ajax armors affixed with floor augments (Rocks are scaled via floor potency) as well as Increza to naturally charge PB during the rock phase.

Congrats on the solo!
Just got a quick couple of questions if that's alright.
With the new BO, when did you decide to use BAPS and when did you just power through with BAP. (Assuming fanatic blade is not on).
Also when you have jet intensity on, how do you jerk out of the way of the swords?

Hi Angel!
I use BAPS when FB isn't active, and there is a small window of damage that needs to be burst damage. For example, for DFA's fast punches, you'd want to BAPS to get a maximum amount of damage before the hitbox pulls back. Even with FB active, for those situations, I would still BAPS.
For the Jet Intensity on core, I count 3 kicks, and then use the momentum of the fourth kick to kick away from the sword. You need to undo lock on at this moment and then lock on again afterwards.

absolutely incredible, do you think sub 14 will be possible with a flugelgard? and do you think that fighter may be a better sub-class over slayer because of part breaks?

Thank you! Yes, I think Sub14 is possible now that we have Lux Halphinale and then if you have Abandac 5 Flugel, but even with the Flugel price crash, I don’t want to invest in Abandac. It’s not very friendly towards all-class players. 😅
Fighter sub down damage bonus does not affect BREAK damage, so it would only really be useful for the final down at the end. Slayer sub can give 5% crit rate for a 14-15 minute quest and pp recovery which is super important for SB.

Yeah, gearing expense for BIS is at an all time high right now. I was staring at a Fatale 3 Flugel SB on Ship 2 with an impossible price of 250mil…and just decided to keep trying with my Tisah.

But I have already invested on Verschmelz already
Or is it only possible to solo with using Flugel?

@@zakitoshirokami There has been no fighter clear yet, even in JP! It's pretty difficult. If your Verschmelz is already Termina 3+, then you can keep playing with it for sure, especially if it's invested. LC drops growthments and Fixa Verschmelz a lot more now so you can grind there for materials.
For solo purposes, I would actually start looking into a Fatale Tisah now. Tisah is at an all time low for pricing. I'd give it a few days though because there will be PSO2 Day RDR soon and more weapons will drop.

If your party member is in a different place (different city, outside city, etc.) and you queue into a quest, you'll queue in by yourself. 🙂
