I'm actually in this video. I was a swat dude I carried the drum guy. It was shot in the sin twities in Minnesota. Other folks ran around a drum set that day and I said 'nah' and then had five guys. It's a true story.

I can't people actually hate on this album and rise of the lion. I actually prefer it. they found their sound on this album. The older stuff sounds like every other metalcore band that was around at the time. Don't get me wrong I love all of their stuff, one of my favorite songs by them is on Monument.

It took me entirely too long to find this video. I looked up so many different key words and finally remembered Our Last Night started doing covers. Eventually I typed in Our Last Night music video in the river and found it! I had a burned CD with their first album on it and I listened to it for months right after a bad break up. I can't believe I forgot about this.

Wrong the internet is where kids hide behind computer screens and insult each other, not where people use acronyms you can use aconyms anytime but just because your on the internet doesn't mean its acceptable. they were first used in texting lingo buddy so welcome to the world of cellular communication and laziness, where instead of taking a couple second to type out the word they use the beginning letters of three word and combine them and assume anyone on the internet knows what you mean.

I like how people think that just because your on the internet your vocabulary completely changes and acronyms become acceptable, when in papers or any other type of writing they are not. They were originally "text lingo" used to save time and money when talking to friends, now people adapt that to the internet today to save just time. there is no other reason to use them besides to save time which is lazy. Just because it is the "internet" doesn't give you an excuse to be lazy.

Personally i think we should stray away from acronyms like imo, brb etc and just actually type out what we are trying to say. Instead of taking shortcuts like these which cause misunderstandings, Because i don't want to ask someone what their acronym means when they could have just spelled it out in the first place.

not that im a fan of justin bieber, but tcheck this out. there is only one justin bieber, right? there is aproximatly 32746573843657 metalcore bands that sounds the same. i have much more respect for justin bieber than any metalcore band, no matter how superior or br00tal the bands think they are. plus, BOTH bieber fans and metalcore fans are underaged girls.
Why is everyone fighting on which band is "better"? It's not like it is going to change the other person's opinion on their musical taste. Honestly, no band is better than the next simply because everyone has a different taste and style that they might like to hear. Can we all just get along and watch the freaking music videos?
@Josiah Vanwingerden Yeah I cab agree with you a bit there. Joey did some pretty creative stuff on AAs self titled. But he used to be absolutely the best in '07. Now it' just doesn't compare. A lot his stuff sounds the same. Like TDWP for instance, except I'm glad they worked more with Adam D. on dead throne. As for ADTR and MMF I don't know who their producers are.
Ok maybe I shouldn't have blamed rise for making miss may I shitty.. It's joeys fault mostly and their fans for liking their declining musical quality. And of course I know rise doesn't tell bands what to play. But they used to sign the best bands out there and now theyre just signing up all of these generic scene bands.

I actually think they are better... they changed their style to more old school Metalcore (As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Underoath etc.) which has much less fans than the usual Post-Hardcore/"chug" Metalcore bands

Oh, I get what you mean... I really liked Monument, actually. And Joey's done a great job with WCAR, AA and OM&M (in my opinion), but I think he butchers some stuff too! (TWA, AA's second album)... I like the guy who does ADTR and the guy who does Memphis May Fire the best though!
So they build up for a great breakdown. And then the breakdown is almost non-existent. Seriously, if they're gonna do an album with less breakdowns, stop disappointing the listener by making them think they're gonna get a heavy as scrotum breakdown. I miss the pre-2012 MMI:'(
