Doing my first ever Raid in my time of playing Destiny

My first ever Raid in my 4 years (at the time of posting) of Destiny has been finished!
Vault of Glass is a really fun activity and I hope to do the harder version so I can get better than Year 1 loot, and maybe Vex Mythoclast.
That Patience and Time is still gonna be a staple in my Crucible loadouts. They won’t ever know what hit ‘em.
Thanks to the guys who helped me with this. They were SUPER patient and helpful and I learned the Raid pretty easily with their help. I was able to do a lot better than I’m sure a lot of new players do.
The D1 community is so much better than the D2 community, in my opinion.

Man if this group is open to taking more people through raids, I'd def want to sign up, but im PS4 only which is unfortunate

Dang yeah it is, I do wonder how much work it would be for Bungie to make D1 cross-platform, it would be pretty cool. I’m sure if it was, the people I played with would be more than down to have more. We actually started with 4, the went down to 3 during the encounter before Oracles and had to 3 man that. Then we got up to 6 through LFG, and then before the end of the Templar fight we were down to 4 again and ended with 4.

@BoldDestinyAnimations man how did you lfg? The destiny discord has a barely existent d1 lfg chat, and I haven't seen any other destiny discords for d1 raids and strikes

I actually met the guys in the Tower first, they were just chillin and I started chillin around them and they invited me and said they were doin’ VoG and I wasn’t gonna deny that opportunity. We LFG’d later for Oracles tho. Only one of those people stayed for the rest of the raid and only me and 2 of the original group were left beside them.
