I thought I was the only one to use my hand to flatten my chicken. 😂. Everybody breaks out pans, rolling pins, mallets, hammers, baseball bats etc. Your hand is right there!! 👍 looks delicious btw
hahhaha
I use my hand as well and I’m constantly using my fist like a hammer and right now I’m wearing a soft cast on my right wrist because I had a very painful flare up of tendinitis in my wrist probably from doing those things. So I would suggest do as I say and not as I do and use a mallet lol.
I made this last night but I used boneless chicken thighs. It was a major hit. 😛😛 Thank you Neal for the great idea. Can't wait to see more great ideas.
Glad you liked it!!
Love your upfront comments at the end!! Roll Tide!!
Thanks bud… GBO
Free pro tip marinate the chicken in Italian dressing instead of honey mustard Mayo thanks
Although the taste would help...still would be a nasty mess on the griddle...the italian dressing would burn the same way....
I really think you should have a yearbook with every recipe of that year. I think it would be a great way to support your channel. And it would make a great Christmas gift. Just keep it simple to keep the time spent on it to a minimum. Maybe get your kids involved 😊
All about time… just not enough. It roughly takes 3xs longer to create a recipe for the internet… love the idea
If you do, sign me up! I’ll have someone read it to me😝 Happy Veteran’s day brother
Looks delicious!
Looks wonderful!
That looked amazing ❤😊
Thank you 👊👊
This looks great! I'm going to have to try it!
Hope you like it!
Definitely cooking that one delish ❤
It's so good!
Looks absolutely AMAZING thanks for sharing with the world 💜
This will be tonight's dinner for my family
Thats awesome...Hope you enjoy
Loaded to the max! Thanks, Neil -- Looks absolutely delicious. 👌😋
Thanks bud...
I almost made Alice springs chicken copycat a couple weeks ago. Such a simple but yet tasty creation. Yours looked great Neal!!
Awesome! Thank you!
These look excellent! I use the elevated rack often, a great hack for the griddle!
Dont use as often as I did...but definitely a must have...
I always mix BBQ sauce and honey mustard. It looked amazing!
Sounds great!
IVe never tried this before but it makes me wanna make it right away. Thanks for the video, sir. The sauce looks amazing!
Thanks for watching
My wife's favorite order at Outback. Thanks for doing this! I am definatley gonna try this one for some good brownie points! Looks great. Have a great day! Go Dawgs
Hope you enjoy bud,....GBO...
Doing this cook tonight
heck yeah
Thanks for sharing with us Neil and Amy, that recipe sure looked good. Stay safe around there and keep up the good work and fun. Fred.
thanks fred
That looks good to me! I would think jalapenos or hot sauce might be a good addition also. I think I would put some of them on a bun and make a sandwich too.
Great idea!!
Looks delicious! Making your hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp this weekend so it'll be loaded chicken next weekend!
Heck yeah...thanks
My wife just made something simular this week. We will just have to add some cheese and bacon. Looked really good. GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
Hey thats great bud...cheers
I would do this, I'd vacuum marinade chicken for a bit ahead of time, looks delish!
Yeah...hey if you do....let me know...that was an option...
Gotta try this….without mushrooms of course lol😅
Great vid you two!
Hope you enjoy
Like your cutting boards, where to purchase? TY for the videos, newbie here.
We have done a version of this quite a few times, but I do it on the pellet grill.
even better...thanks
Nice cook. Any thoughts on using the meat tenderizer that has the small needles/blades to get the marinade into the meat?
I think thats always a possibly...
Looks delicious, I have company coming next month, this might just be on the menu for 3 of us, the other 2 will get it minus the shrooms and green onion.
Hope you enjoy it...super easy and great recipe for alternatives
What type scraper are you using?
I appreciate all your content. One question I have wanted to ask: what do you do to keep your glasses clean?
You grill/griddle all the time. I just do a few times and it bothers the heck out if me the grease on my glasses.
Disposable eye glass wipes...with a soft cloth as well...
My wife hates mushrooms, so we order the Alice Springs Chicken with grilled onions instead, amazing.
Going to have to try this, the prices out at these places is out of control....
Absolutely....look for bone in chicken thighs....and just de bone...really really cheap...also you can look for bacon pieces...both my grocery stores have em...basically bacon that di not make the strips...and they are the cuts of belly etc...typically WAY cheaper as well.....
Damn, those looked good! Bacon, mushrooms and pepper jack cheese? Oh yeah baby, all day, every day!
I love the easy interaction between you two. Neil: 4 chicken breasts equals? Amy: Not enough bacon. Subtle but hilarious! 😁
ahhaahah appreciate ya
I totally agree, marinating with a mayo based sauce is pointless. I would do it just the way you suggested, layer it after it’s done, a lot less mess to clean up along the way also.
Exactly!
where did you get the cutting board?
I will attempt this today for my mother in law’s bday. We are having ribs also
Great side dish..haahha ....JK...love the combo...
@@TheFlatTopKing They turned out great. A big hit. Thanks for the recipe
This looks delicious Neil ! I will try this one this next spring. Question , when is the next seasoning you are making gonna be for sale ? THANK you Frank from montana......
thanks bud...well its officially blended...now we wait on bottling, shipping and boxing...I would think 2 weeks or less
@@TheFlatTopKing Good cause I'm gonna order one , question did you guys start working on the next seasoning yet ?? Thanks my friend ...
@@frankmarullo228 not yet…
I agree with grilling it without being smothered in that sauce👍🏻. Much cleaner.
Amen
You are the king..can't find the info in the scraper.
Just a standard bench scraper...mine is from the Camp Chef griddle kit..but amazon has 1,000s of them....cheers
Never mind I found it.😂
If you aren’t going to marinade, what are you going to season with prior to throwing it on the griddle?
I would just do a simple all purpose....that way it does not compete with the actual recipe
i don't have a traditional blackstone what i have is a two burner outdoor cook top with a heavy rolled steel flattop griddle that's removable. got it from a company in Texas, i live in the south where its hot and muggy. even with a good cleaning, heating oil on it after cleaning, and keeping it covered i constantly fight light surface rust. is there any other option other than taking the hardtop off and keeping it inside
Some use a silicone mat...I agree...regardless of what I do...i will get some as well...Unfortunately I think brining it in is the key...Maybe a bag for it that you can keep outside...unless its made for it specifically, I dont have exact answers ...
thanks i saw a silicone cover on amazon might give that a try
Have you tried the cubed pork chops yet?
Nope...on my list...just a shallow fry style??
Do you have a link to that black cutting board? That looks like the same one that Sam the cooking guy uses. I always thought that it was made out of some kind of a stone or something and I wonder why everybody is cutting on them. So what exactly is it made of?
At first blush it looks like slate--but that would dull the knife. I'm betting it is plastic of some kind.
Cuttingboard.com The Brand is Richlite...typically about $35....it is no plastic
@@TheFlatTopKing appreciated
I’m with you brother. If you’re marinating something, you need acidity in the marinade to penetrate the pores of the meat you’re marinating. Only way around this is a chamber vac which uses pressure to open the pores of the meat.
agree..perfect alternative...
I'm not a mushroom fan, but I'm wondering if instead of mushrooms, try sun dried tomatoes and green pepper?
Absolutely… add what you like.
Guys.... not exactly related to this video, but I'm curious what type and where you buy the salt y'all use? Locally bought? Amazon? Coarse? Sea? Pink Himalayan? I imagine y'all buy in bulk. Thanks!! 🙂
Great question...in the last few months....about 6 months ago I switched to Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt...I like it on my BBQ and just started to use it more often for other things....I do buy a big box...but only because its super cheap that way
I’m Aussie and never seen these or made these in australia. We do loaded fries/chips but not chicken
NO Rules...just right..hahaha
100% agreed cooking the chicken without the sauce. Sauces are such a pain to clean, are easily burned, and add very little in my opinion. Sauce afterwards is the way...
Totally agree!
Pounding out: that’s why God made hammers.😊
Griddling chicken first then basting makes sense.
I would use blue cheese, I can't recall you ever using blue cheese in any of the videos I have watched. Are you not a blue cheese guy?
Its not one I reach for often. Time and place for sure. We have an incredible or what i like… homemade blue cheese dressing on my website. I think the biggest thing is the differences in blue cheese brands. I am ver particular since its not my favorite. I don’t shy away with wings or salads.. but it has to be good.
Damn I know you use oil but that is the most non stick surface I've seen on a griddle and I've had mine for years!
I appreciate that...
any help I can give?
I've learned so many valuable cooking tips from your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I was wondering if you could share a video of you cooking with KHAL
+++++++++++++
You lost me with the shrooms
Take em out...its the recipe....
It looks great, but I was hoping it would be healthy. Not trying to be difficult but that's going to require 20-30 minutes of cardio to put a dent in the calories from fat. Looks good though. I need to get on a diet so I think I'm going to steam my breasts.
looks like a dogs breakfast to me, but each to their own
The definition of a lucky dog
Amen...literally Outbacks Steakhouse number 1 selling item...ahhahaha
